I've currently viewing on a good sized display (Viewsonic 1080p) and it looks fantastic. The full banner is showing and the text is a good size. I guess the forum was designed to run on this sort of monitor as I'm not zoomed out. Next time we change can someone please try to remember to have filler around the edge of the main design to prevent this situation reoccurring. I can't see them changing this one for us all that quickly, I've been nagging away at them since DT finished this design and it has only just happened. I resorted to a plea saying that we were meeting up to celebrate Brixton and could it be in place for then to finally get some action. The poor sods on the Leeds board were trying to get theirs changed before we were and are still waiting.
PC, Mac, Tablet, what browser are you using: Chrome, Safari, Firefox? Someone may be able to help you with more information.
What browser? You may just have to erase the Cache, History and Cookies and re-start fresh. Obviously if you've got a lot going on you would lose all the work, but at least you can restart with everything fresh. That should do it.
This is a screen-capture from my MacBook Pro 15" at full screen, Safari stretched all the way across. It is unable to stretch any farther, and the screen size is set on normal, without squeeze. As you can see, it cannot show the right and left portions as you may be seeing it.
Roller - I have the same problem on my Desktop WinXP computer at work today - I'm seeing the old banner - it switched though after I read your announcement on the very same computer yesterday. So it appears that I am in the same boat as Swords (I cleared my cache as Flyer suggested).
Try it on a different computer that youve never browsed the sight with. The only other thing I can think of is that some bad ISPs may use a transparent proxy that caches popular images and that hasnt been updated yet. CTRL and F5 doesnt work? What browser do you use or is it a phone/tablet?
Banner just magically changed to the new format banner which at default 100% zoom I don't see much of, from this attached image that I recently captured and had been seeing all day.
Liked DT's design..........sorry.........don't like the way it appears. Love the Brixton badge however!!
The stairs? So as not to fall arse over tit as you attempt to monitor the device whilst negotiating the stairs (only 4 floors in our 110 yr old brick former cotton mill heritage building), as many of colleagues are prone to do on their new govt standard issue Blackberry Q10's. Time to go home for me, work day done on this side of the pond 4 hrs behind most of you guys.
