This is off of OTIB, the guy is simply asking a question in a nice civilised way, I personally feel and get the same way but I can't answer the question can you..? ' Bar BS3 Posted 28 minutes ago What is it about that putrid Blue & White quartered Clowns outfit that riles me so....? I'm generally a fairly placid bloke. Yes, I get passionate about following City, but what is it about the breed of person that adorns that sickening attire..? I can't control the boiling of my blood and the urge to spit upon sight of that hiddeous monstrosity of a shirt. It makes no logical sense! Why is that a breed of people, who, to all intense and purpose should be the same as ourselves are SO different. Why do they have such a chip on their shoulder? Why do they all (the vast majority a least) appear so ******ed and bitter..? I can see no logical answer - but whenever watching a game against those dispicable mongs, something takes a hold of me that verges on mental illness...! Does anyone else feel this way, or indeed, have any answers...? ' Yes mate I feel that way and I'm honest enough to admit it... http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/157021-it-makes-me-sick/
Have to admit I hate/dislike Cardiff more than I do Bristol rovers but i'll be much much much happier beating rovers than I would Cardiff.
Basically it is the shirt I feel half as bad watching Blackburn Rovers there is just something about a shirt like that Blue and White stripes like Sheff Wed don't have any effect so I think it's something to do with the way the eyes view things and it gets translated in the brain. It does not affect the Sags themselves as it is a well known fact that in order to support the Sags you need to have your brain removed. PS did you know that SAG Brains are sold on the internet for the highest prices due to the fact that they have never been used. I can happily reveal that now because my kid brother has ceased being a sag he now supports FGR not sure what happened but according to a cousin he was disgusted by something the blewfew did and walked away.
I remember when they played in plain blue shirts, but that's maybe showing my age a little too much ! I guess they changed to the Battenburg Cake design in the early 70's ?
I will go from absolutely detesting them for 90 minutes to having a beer and a bit of banter in the pub afterwards. For that 90 minutes, I don't mind admitting I will 'hate' them! Nothing gets the blood pumping for me more than a game against them.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I know only 1 gas head to talk to as they are a bit thin on the ground over here in Walesland so for me I would rather see us beat Cardiff as I am surrounded by the Bluebirds/Redbirds/Malaysians/Sheep-worriers.............
I think I have worked it out Their shirt looks like a battenberg cake gone moldy so looking at it makes you sick. I just found an old Batternberg Cake down the back of the pantry the yellow has faded and the mold was all over the pink bit and guess what it reminded me of?
