A few times last season I put up NEMO SPIRIT to win as I think he is well handicapped and capable of much better. Indeed he was placed twice at decent odds. However, every time I see the horse he has looked overweight and not fit enough to do himself justice. If you have watched his races he is a snow white grey with a real barrel belly (a bit like myself). All this is likely to change as he is now in the capable hands of Jim and Tom Best. He is exactly the type of horse that they excel with. When he runs I will be lumping on and hoping to see the new toned version of NEMO SPIRIT!

They'll have AP up top and he'll probably be a fairly short price! If I were them I'd run him once unfit and go for it after that to get a better price. Best doesn't seem to mind them winning at short odds though.

I don't put too much store on the info coming out of the yard these days. The bookies are on to them and nothing they run is ever value any more. Back in the good old day's we rode that gravy train but these good things do not last forever.
