This coud work out well, he goes away from us and builds up his confidence. If not then we have nothing to lose.

If it's true then I for one wish him well and hope he recovers his form with Gary Johnson. Whether you like him or not he has been a good servant to the club.
Mind you he will probably be back in Jan.

I had hoped Fonts would come to us on loan, would have been hilarious had he played against you on Weds and scored a winner.

Great news - for us and for him.
With Shorey and O'Connor we now have 4 reasonable central defenders at the club (not counting LC).
A much healthier situation. Now we must all hope and pray Baldock keeps form and fitness or we will be in trouble.

After the reports of City fans abusing him when he was out with his kids, I think this was likely to happen.

Yes, he's consistently struggled for us for the past year, but this club and its fans have a horrendous record of pinning the blame on one person. If we're not blaming players, we're blaming managers we had full trust in months before.

I hope Fontaine does well back in the Championship, and that he can bring some form back to Bristol City.

That point is irrelevant. He's still a scapegoat for larger problems with the business side of the club.

Gone to a higher level. Been wanted by larger clubs but there are those who insist he has no ability.

I hope to see him return, on form he is a good player, he also can "play" a bit. The play bit is important v being a lump minus abilty to pass the globe a - b.

Will he play regularly at a higher level?-Remains to be seen how GJ uses him. I think the comments from SO'D (uses the word- untenable) would suggest that he wont play for us much, if at all in the future.
