80 grand a week for a goalkeeper in the Championsh*t. This has to go down as Fernandes' biggest fu*k up yet.
Mortlake said that he had it on good authority that it was no more than £68,000. Still way too much, but no where near £100k. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/223556-Cesar?highlight=Mortlake Post #3
That doesnt make any sense. Hes been told he has to play in a top league, other teams will only sign him if he takes a pay cut thus he clearly values money over playing for the Brazil team in his home world cup. There is no other conclusion unless you can come up with a logical reason why he hasnt gone.
Perhaps this will stop you repeating the same wrong stuff, includes direct quotes from Scolari. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/championship/cesar-will-not-be-leaving-qpr-insists-scolari-8779758.html
Has anybody thought that we could have a future world champion in our team as a number 2 goalkeeper. We really have a strong team for championship......
Its financially crippling though mate, no matter how much money our owners have (oxymoron I know). This situation must be unprecedented.
He also said he has to play and it not be about the money. Is he going to play now and its clearly about the money. ""Anyone who wants to stay here with me needs to think about the national team and not just the money.""
...but not that he has to play in a 'top league' as you said. There's no shame in admitting you get it wrong sometimes mate.
but he did say he had to play and it has not got to be about the money so thats 2 out of 3. He might have even said the third thing at another time but I cant be arsed to check.
That was some of the funniest posts in a row I've read in a long time! Hilarious. Lets all go to Cesar's house and entertain his family on his money he's making off us, shall we? He can afford some niceties from the West End for the family, surely with them wages? Cheers
Come on, be reasonable. Gareth Bale is going to get £250,000+ a week ... and he is useless in goal compared with Cesar.
