So today was the day that the board let us drop down into dark times and into a car crash at the bottom of the hill.

Today is the day that highlights they don't give a **** and we will now drop down the leagues so quickly.

We are the only club not to spend anything, in life you pay for what you get so we will get championship football.

So now kinnear now you can **** off, pardew **** off and Ashley do the right thing.

RIP Newcastle united, even Paulo's ticking time bomb does not deflect the shambles we are in

Look at all those deals today which we were crying out for and its for the likes
    Of WBA,hull etc etc.
Now looks like McCarthy going to Everton.
Today we gave ZERO to make it happen.
biggest epic fail and for those 3 bell ends in charge that's saying something.

Did you really think it was gonna be any different today than at any time since Jokingere was dumped on the club, we were lucky to get Remy, probably cause jokey thought he was getting a real good brandy. As for Pards his only choice was to walk when the clown was unveiled or try and stick it out, same happened to me at work, had an Operations Director dropped on top of me, didn't agree with how he was doing things, spoke to business owner, told everything ok will be sorted, they sacked me last week.

Was always going to happen after the '£60m spent' 'top 10 wage bill' comments - which coincided with Arsenal dropping their interest in Cabaye. Ashley is winding up to make the club more attractive for sale by removing the debt.

Reality is that we still shouldn't struggle with this squad, we have 16 internationals, who, if they were well managed there's no way we should get pulled into a relegation battle. Another striker would have been ideal, but was always unlikely.

Sadly everyone in charge of the club is complicit in any turmoil we suffer, Pardew should be getting more from the current players and the owner/dof should have acted to bring in the 2 players necessary to help us push on. But that has not happened. We're still markedly stronger than last summer, lets just hope we can make the most of what we have.

It's is definitely not the death of NUFC some people would like to believe.

I don't see him selling this year, £100m is too much to write off and makes us too expensive. The January Bail Out, bringing forward the gouffran and Sissoko deals, didn't help. One thing is for sure, fat Ash won't let us go down. Try selling a £300m championship side.

you cant blame pardew, its that clown Kinnear, when he was last at nufc his job was to steady the ship before its gets sold, nufc needs to be sold to someone who wants to make this great club, great again, and get rid of Kinnear and the chairman, but you have kept your star players, your squad is a top 12 team i.m.o good luck. what a goal by ben last saturday

I think our team is comfortably good enough to not be in a relegation scrap (without Europe to distract us and some hideous injuries this time around hopefully!) but we aren't going to actually achieve anything this season.

With another striker and a couple of other good additions we could have had a go at the top ten and sneaking into Europe but that's a far stretch now. I would accept 10-12th to be honest, if we get a couple of injuries to key positions were are stuffed.

ps. Don't blame Pardew for the lack of signings. Tactics and stuff yeah he's been culpable but lack of signings not his fault really. Actually cannot believe we haven't spent any money strengthening the first team - one loan player... *sigh*

You seem to have a short memory ... Ashley is a gambler, if we're in deep relegation mire in January, he'll fire Pardew and bring in an out-of-work director of football.
