Wouldn't he be at Palace for the negotiations? Surely he wasn't sitting at home waiting for them to raise their offer?
Why slate AJ so easily !!! If Rangers gave palace permission to talk with him....... it's not his fault.... must make him feel that Arry doesn't want him. He has to protect his livelihood.
Comments about AJ holding out for more cash is a Load of bollocks.... it was rangers asking for more.
There's obviously a bigger plan here. It's not easy I know, but we have to trust Harry. I'm sure there will be a CF coming in soon
Maybe they offered a couple of million and we thought we could replace him with a loan to buy. We did that with Smith who only missed 1 game by signing 3 one month loan deals before he signed in Jan.
My only guess is we're quite confident of getting a couple of strikers in when the loan market opens again next week. So they thought it wouldn't hurt to let AJ talk to Palace.
Why would he tell people hes not going back when he could have told them QPR want more money? We might have asked for more tonight but that wasnt the reason why he didnt go weeks ago.
It feels like a real gamble though. Surely you want to firm up the arrivals before letting people go???god knows what happens behind the scenes, it's a total soap opera. Anyway he's still here so let's hope he keeps scoring.
Has AJ or anyone else made a statement as to why he didn't sign? All this speculation, inlcuding the press's, is annoying.
Seems AJ is staying. As far as I'm concerned that's a good thing for the club. Whatever happened, he wears a Hoops shirt and so far has worked his a$$ off every game. Result!!!!
Absolutely SW R. I just hope our fans don't get on his back for turning up at Palace. We don't know the details as to why he arrived there. He is our player and he will play a big part in getting us up, hopefully.
I am glad he's staying. Guys,we have a good team and are strong contenders for top 2. There! I've gone and said it.
We were willing to let him go. How wanted does that make him feel. He was more than entitled to speak to Palace
