Well the transfer window has finally closed and we have come out of it unscathed!!!! Am chuffed that we have not lost any of our most important players and have done some good business! Some great deals - Canas, Bony, Shelvey etc. etc. Some great potential - Vazquez and that goalie! But the best bit is that we have not lost too much; Ki to Sunderland being the only minus - why loan him to one of our rivals?!!! But all in all quite happy! Thoughts?
In all fairness regarding the Ki deal, the question was asked on sky sports earlier as to why Chelsea would load Moses to Liverpool and strengthen them, and the point was made that if the player isn't going to be in the club's plans, it's only fair that he has some say in where he goes. It wouldn't be fair on him to farm him out to a lower league side
My bad Swim! Have been watching the Transfer window all night and have taken my eye off the ball here - merge or delete my thread! Not bothered either way - just happy about the business we have conducted - we are looking so good for the season!
Some of us were never worried with all the talk of Michu going to the Gunners, it was never going to happen in my view, and it didn't, but I'm sure those of you that were worried, will now relax. My son said to me that, "I'm amazed that none of the big guns came in for him" I replied, that the price that Jenkins and Laudrup put on his head, kept them away, and so we can keep him for at least another season, but I would love him to be here longer, we shall see!........................
