Reports are coming out that the hold up to Sessegnons deal to WBA hinges on whether they can get Lukaku back as he has declared they are his preferred destination over Everton?

Now, if this happens where does that leave the player?

Does he come back and go straight into the team?
Is he now isolated and frozen out?
Will the fans take him back?
Will the player want to come back?

This could turn into a right mess or be a great reprisal.

If he isn't sold he may just put his head down and put 100% into the rest of this season and in doing so may give us a huge boost or he may retreat into his shell and we are left with a £60k per week financial dead weight round our necks. Also, if we have signed Borini in preparation for Sessegnons departure where does that leave that deal?

Interesting 55 mins ahead me thinks?

Why would the fans not take him back?
Why would he be frozen out.

I hope to **** he doesn't go and is still our player.

I guess I am asking because he split opinion when he was here and fully committed (or seemed committed anyway) and there has been equal support for him to stay and go. How will his return be heralded from the happy to see him go.

Good. Dont want him to leave especially as Sigurdsson deal was BS. I'm convinced with the right team around him Sess could consistently be our creative force and impetus. He's been asked to fill too many roles at any one time so far imo. Not to mention we shouldn't be selling to WBA at all and for the pittance reported.

In other words let's spend an hour speculating over something that may or may not happen ........ I'll leave you to it.

Thought something else must have happened.
Moved his family here and looked settled said how much he liked it here.
And not long after. rumours were rife the club wanted rid.
Every flair player has his detractors and others who love them.
    Nature of football.

Nearly every transfer window thread is about something that might not happen.

SSN - Sessegnon deal done. Confirmed WBA have broken their transfer record to signs him.

Well, that's the end of it now.

This is just inventing spurious scenarios for a pointless discussion.

He'll sign and we all know it ....... it's not in the balance at all.
