I think to a greater extent we have to trust that MP and the club know what they want and what they're doing. Not blindly, but let's just see how it all pans out. MP certainly had an edict to blood and play youngsters too.

I'd also mention that I'm sure NC would rather we gambled or progressed with a couple of youngsters than kept a highe rapid but as equal a gamble as someone like De Ridder who isn't up to it.

 

Ok if that's it I have to say I am very concerned as we haven't done anything to improve our ability to break down stubborn defences. In fact we have lost Puncheon who I thought was excellent last season and Mayuka who was at least offensive minded.

Where will our chances from and who will take them as we know jay's conversion rate is poor, osvaldo needs to settle and Rickie might get a bad injury.

We have not scored more than one goal in a game for nine PL games now, hardly prolific. I also think we have no width.

I was sarcastic because I felt what you said didn't add up to me. Jayrod is improving all the time and improved drastically under MP, Rickie has had a low scoring period.. Do you believe that won't change? Osvaldo has shown me in a cameo and a couple of glimpses that he is going to get on the end of things. Adam looks maybe to be starting to spark.

Why are we getting twitchy over losing Punch and Mayuka? Punch had a good season and I would liked to see him replaced, but he was hardly a 15 goals and 15 assists player.

We've signed 3 good players to add to a squad that found its feet last season. We've lost one of the players who played a good part of last season but by no means was a first choice. Ok this leaves us one less wide player, but from what I've seen in two games (I missed Norwich), we are dominating possession and I bet MP knows we need to start taking some chances.

I'm relaxed, but that maybe because I'm not expecting is to finish in the top 8 this season.

Very different players but we're not playing with wingers. JWP offers better delivery and greater versatility but not the same level of trickery possessed by Punch.
