Chops with a fro brilliant.. I'm bored... Pissing down with rain here.. Gardening neglected due to weather.. though I did trim the bush.. Though I didn't think about what I was going to do with the trimmings so now I have a mound of trimmings in the front courtyard. .. My neighbours must love me.. An the back bit of my garden which I intended to gravel an never got round too look like I'm being invaded by triffids .. Anyway I'm doing a ham joint for tea boiled in cider then honey glazed an finished off in the oven with some dauphinoise potatoes..
Yippee Greenhouse is up and lookin' funky! good fun actually like a big **** off meccano set! Reet off on my BMX ...... coming Foo?
Ha, when you mentioned trimming your bush Sweats, I was bombarded with sickening imagery. Ever been up to Kendal calling or Solfest Tunns? It's probably your bag, baby. Quite good bands on. Then there's Cock Rock in Cockermouth. Not that I'd go, being the miserable twat that I am. Madness are playing the quayside at the Whitehaven maritime festival. Quite a big deal for round these parts.
Don't shout at me Foo, But I'm ashamed to say I've never been to Cumbria. Except a cup tie back in 78/9 I think it was, went on Bostock's coaches from Macc, can't remember much about the trip. Have always wanted to climbling/walking up there just never got around to it, and if they have have good music stuff gping on I' ll hav eto give it a go as especially now both my girls are leaving for college/Uni. Ah smell the freedom!!!
Yeah there are some little festies going on. Nobody massive currently, but usually quite big in the past. Obviously Charlatans & Mozza are giant acts, and they have played stuff recently, but usually it's bands like the Levellers etc, that sort of thing. Kids off to Uni mate? Where they going? 100 days & counting for me...
Youngest going to Coleg Menai t'other to either Reading(1st choice) or Swansea(2nd choice) which was my choice - could have a swift beer with chops when ever desired
Not too far away then - easy reach for money, emergency pot noodles & washing. I've had my instructions as a kept man - Lidl for little bits, then the other two supermarkets near us - co op & Tesco for any bargains. She thinks I'll have all the time in the world to do it. Which I probably will. Gotta get the shop down from £160 - £80 a week. How the feck am I supposed to be able to booze like a soak on that? **** it, the kids can do without 1 of their 3 meals a day - it'll do 'em good. They'll be lean & mean.
I'd look good with an afro. Not as good as I do with a ginger mullet and a tartan beret but bloody good all the same. Well, another weekend flies by. Looks like we're all kind of gardeners of sorts. I was at it again yesterday, toiling in between showers. It looks good but at this time of year it needs non stop work. Had a cracking barbie Friday, no awkwardness and finally put to bed the 'but she's my ex' thoughts careering round my head. Didn't have any time for any reminiscing of old times(again, inside my head) as I was pretty much the meat cooking man and stooge for four kids as the rest blathered away and drank. Went down Tenby on Saturday. Anyone been there? Lovely place but sadly still stuck a bit in the past, needs a good spruce up and to join the modern world. It was absolutely pie hot all day, whilst I was there i remindeed my self of Tags big hate #1 and that is ; Slow Walkers. Why the fick can't some people get a ****ing move on? Do they really have so little going on in their world that they have to lope about like three toed sloths to kill some time? Get out of my way. Was given a nice bonus of a couple of sunshine beers as she volunteered to drive home in my car. All very well but I caught her doing 85 in third a couple of times. Forget to change up it seems. However good the fat kid in BGT (and I haven't watched a second of it by the way) is at singing he won't do owt. Does anyone remember who won X factor last year? Go on, anyone? He's the one who butchered a Biffy Clyro record to give us a Christmas treat. No, me neither. The Hoff has been spotted round these parts mind, going out with a local lass who he pulled during the auditions.
Tenby looks nice on postcards, but in reality like you say a bit drab, not a patch on it's Cornish cousins! Beaches are superb though. I can't stand crowds (basically the general public) so I'd opt to go further west to your favourite Bardafundle, or Broad Haven South, both stunning and quieter, and attract a different type of punter! Further west again to Solva & St Davids ........ **** I've got out to be a beach soon before I gnaw my arms off!
The trip was really a Dinosaur Experience visit yet again (second season ticket duly purchased) but after we went onto Tenby beach for a couple of hours then had some food. Someone needs to get the whole town on board for a bit of modernaisation and a spruce as location wise it's hard top beat. The beaches are, as you point out, superb. Could barely find one decent peg to eat in, it's all stag/hen do's and sizzlers. Barafundle will be getting a visit very soon, no doubt about that. I see Fabio's boys did well again. I'm sticking to my deal that England don't exist till he's gone and only happened upon the result in yesterday paper. It seems Milner was ****, he was an excellent player till City got their hands on him. Funny that, Barry and Lescott were also good players till City waved their wand and turned them to ****e.
I think Tenby need to curb the Stag/Hen do brigades, take a leaf out of Dublin's books, the n build from there, would of liked to see it in it's hey day as it does look really pretty, and does have potential to be better. Watched about 5 mins of BRits on the lash( or something like that) basically Blighty's finest doing it large in Eastern European cities .... lovely! Yep Citeh = Bobbins!
Noticed the pictures on his twitter holding his hands up for the camera , as usual in may i noticed his hands were empty !!
I hate mondays.... full on sunday insomnia last night... not helped by having a snoring bird in my bed.. So what are peoples thoughts on Nasri? seem to be gathering momentum in the press... or just a reason to get himself a better contract with the gooners... or do we think its serious as a back up if we do not get Sneijder? hmmmmm
Absolutely NOT a fan of that at all. Don't rate him, never have and untill I'm forcibly proved wrong, never will. Cesc Fabregas, now that would be a different matter entirely. Say we only have money for three players in this summer recruitment drive that is allegedly going to happen. One is a goalkeeper. The one player that needs to be targetted as an absolute priority is powerhouse CM and none of the names being bandied about so far are that. IF we get that player, then the likes of Modric, Young, and Nasri can maybe then come on board. And I'll be honest, not one of the three names I just mentioned get my blood going, not one.
I'm not massively fussed about nasri... he is a ty[ical arsenal player an that to me means inconsistent with flashes of brilliance... modric to me is much the same.. watched a few spurs games an barely noticed him on the pitch. . I actually think Ashley Young would be a good signing..
There are a couple of ideals candidates I can think of that would fit what is needed perfectly, unfortunately they play for Barcelona! And there is more chance of me walking up the Scottie Road, buck naked, with a Liver Bird tattoo covering my back and bare arse, whilst singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" than one of them signing for United. So It pains we to say we will probably end up with Young, some goal keeper from a YTS scheme, and some up & coming kid from Tasmania who looked good on YouTube kicking a guava fruit around, and has subsequently had 250,000,000 hits worldwide.
I'd like to see cleverly given a chance next season an perhaps a bit more of this pogba lad zip used to rave about.. Well I have series 1 & 2 of true blood to get stuck into.. Watched the first two episodes last night.. Lots of breasts in it eh.. Which is nice..
I couldn't get in to TB, sweats. Gave it about 6 or 7 episodes before I finally acknowledged that it was a pile of **** & removed it from series link. This whole vampire **** is too much. It's everywhere. Missus is obsessed with Vampire Diaries. Then there's the whole desperately dull Twilight bollocks & probably half a dozen more rattling around the more obscure satellite channels that I'd never watch. Anyway, the best and scariest vampire film is Salem's Lot. Jaysus, that scared the undescended knackers off me when I watched that as a kid. 'Mark, open the window...' <scratch><scratch> Gives me the screaming ab dabs just thinking about it!
