I want to know yours, some people seem to have different opinions performances. Here's mine : Migs - 7 (solid, was never really worked) Jonno - 7 (still not up to scratch, but effort was there) Skrtel - 8 (Some important blocks and was a beast) Agger - 7 (some poor clearances, but kept RVP quiet) Enricky - 6 (didn't do much wrong, but nothing spectacular) Hendo - 7 (worked his socks off) Gerrard - 7 (worked his socks off) Lucas - 7 (worked his socks off) Coutinho - 6 (good start, utd shut him out) Sturridge - 8 (did everything right with an injury too) Aspas - 6 (poor game) Sterling - 6 (looked weak at times but also had some quality) Wisdom - 7 (strong and solid) Alberto (can't remember seeing him)
Mignolet - 8 (made some key saves) Johnson - 8 (best performance ive seen in a while) Skrtel - 7 (solid performance) Agger - 7 (solid performance) Enrique - 7 (did ok) Lucas - 9 (best player on the pitch) Gerrard - 8 (very good performance, drove the team on) Coutinho - 7 (did ok, got bossed around a bit by man u) Aspas - 5 (awful performance, gave the ball away and just didnt look comfortable) Henderson - 9 (didnt stop running, no major faults) Sturridge - 8 (scored a goal, seemed to disappear for long periods)
I'm not worried about Aspas. He did well preseason. We haven't created as many chances as we'd have liked. When we start playing free flowing attacking football again, he will come out of his shell.
He could have had a tap in if Sturridge had got his head up for the lead up to the corner that led to a goal as well - Aspas was there in acres!
Studge doesn't want anyone else to score. he'll get 38, we'll win 38 games 1-0 and win the league with 114 points. Simples.
Aspas was shocked at the pace of the game, something he needs to adjust to but to be fair it was his first big game.
Migs - very hard to rate a keeper when they are not busy. he could have come out more, he could have passed rather than kicking but made required saves. 7. Jonno - I'd proabably give him a 7. young was run off the park but not sure it was all johnson Skrtel - 8 fair rating i think. Agger - 7 yeah. it was good but he let a few things past him. Enricky - 6 I kind of agree, very rarely seen past half way. Hendo - 7 hard to rate. very hard working but not much positivity. tried to break with the forwards. Gerrard - 7 kind of agree and borderline 8. Lucas - 7 as above. Coutinho - 6 I agree, has been quiet in each game now... second season people know what to do??? Sturridge - 8 agree Aspas - 5 anonymous. must get involved, must hold the ball. hasn't done either. Sterling - not on long enough... decent but.... Wisdom - not really on long enough but stood firm enough Alberto wans't on long enough. at least he got on!
