    Assuming Cabs is away Anita and Sissoko would be mine.
    They worked really well together today.
    What about other formations?

    If Cabaye was fit and staying, I'd maybe say him Anita. I like Sissoko but the lad needs a rocket at times. You can't just fall asleep when there are only two of you in there. Cabaye will go though so Anita/Sissoko. Interesting how much difference having a few options on the bench makes to a manager. If Ashley can't see the obvious (or doesn't care to), then he is a cock.

    Anita and Sissoko. Both work hard, do well in attack and are consistent. Cabaye spoils the fluidity in the side.

    Cabayes a very fair weather player and I think he gets way too much credit then he deserves tbh. He is Anonymous for most games and Doesnt seem to have much determination despite his attributes suggesting he does. A good player, Not a great player though. So Anita and Sissoko for me

    Agreed. Anita and Sissoko looked pretty good together. Hopefully that relationship will continue to grow. Who knows if we'll end up keeping Cabaye or not?

    Having watched the Fulham game, I was thoroughly impressed with the Sissoko + Anita partnership.

    Was I the only one who was more or less excited that this partnership has the potential for us to have 2 box-to-box midfielders in the lineup?

    I was really impressed with how they covered each other, and worked tirelessly in midfield.

    Does their partnership have the potential to trump Cabaye + Tiote?

    i preferred sissoko and cabaye but anita did do a few decent link ups on saturday. His longer range passing was a bit wayward though and I thought we improved after cabaye came on.

    Still, that could be due to anita having marv, shola and cisse to pass to whereas cabaye had the more mobile gouff and remy...

    I wouldn't be devastated with a combo of any 2 of the cms you listed, we're very strong in that area (unless we sell)
