If you believe Di Canio is going to split the dressing room faster than moses parted the red sea I think we will be reading your negative crap on here for quite some time.

out of interest...does anyone on here actually think or believe that PDC is a galvanising figure at the club. A manager where players will rally round, someone to look up to, someone to respect. Or just someone to be scared shoiteless of?

Dullards always come back with the 'irony' comment ........ very predicatable tbh

The thing is you really do post as if you're an 'in the know' journalist letting the slack jawed supporters in on the truth.

You post as if you're addressing millions instead of a handful of people who have seen your opinion day after day after day.

This isn't 'The Cest Column' ......

All clubs need leadership but ours needs a rocket up it's arse ... if someone like him can't do it we're ****ed tbh.

The club has been an easy ride for far too long and I believe Short is allowing the manager to 'get amongst them'.

Some people are always crying out for change, at the club, and now it's here they're still complaining.

I can only assume they're short sighted narrow minded souls who just love complaining.

No it isnt but you would love it to be the Smug column. The self appointed people champion (who one has actually asked for or wants)

You really are the ultimate armchair supporting bore of the day.

See, you can't just repeat everything back to me, it's pathetic ........... it's the 'Nur nur ne nur nur' comeback.

I can happily debate and have a bit crack with normal people but I don't like snides.

I'm not an armchair supporter btw .... I'm back for Arsenal & West Brom.

    You going to those?

I have always had doubts about "Directors of Football"
Yet you are saying this a clever set up so you can oust a manager you don't want and bring in one you do!
We have had six managers in five years and you want to be able to change them quicker!
The DOF brings in players and if they are ****e the manager gets the blame? (How can that be a well thought out plan?)
    And that's stability?

DOF makes **** buys and he is the last man standing, now that's a canny job.

I was a MON fan and thought the timing of his sacking so late in the season could have been disastrous.
In hindsight now I can see it was perfect timing as the football and lack of passion from the players would surely have doomed us.

PDC brought some passion back to a team overloaded with water carriers.

I would love to know if PDC is as enamoured about some of our signings as the DOF, I seriously have my doubts.
I'm in no position to make a decision on them as I haven't seen enough of them
He and his staff will be seeing them in training and can make better calls on whether they are up for a game or not.

Giacc was flying past the Eagles first half. (If we didn't have two shop window dummies up top we may have got off to a flyer.)
Celutska, their first goal apart played well the whole game.

People are talking as if Palace were hammering us for 90 minutes. If memory serves the possession was 50/50.
But for individual errors the outcome would have been oh so different.
We were flying when Fletcher came on and had Palace hemmed back for long periods.
We still had water carriers in the team. "Waves" at Ji Wickham Larsson and Vaughan.

The problem is PDC HAD to play players with Premiership experience as if he had fielded a team full of new faces with no Prem experience or playing together he would have been rightly lambasted.
Damned if he does damned if he doesn't.

PDC saying out loud, what you say should be kept behind closed doors, is going to cause rifts in the dressing room?
    Why?
Are these pampered overpaid prima donnas so thin skinned?
On another thread you said SAF and Cloughie wouldn't have publicly had a go at their players.
Pretty sure Cloughie did, when he thought his players hadn't performed.

He was right to have a go at JOS, he cost us the game, there's no two ways about it.

His bigger out burst against Ji was even more deserving.
That was one of the most embarrassing things I have seen in football.
And deserved to be ripped a new arsehole in public!

He was also right to have a pop at the ones more interested in sorting out their travel arrangements for the internationals rather than concentrate on the game.
    We pay their ****ing wages!

But I suppose when managers have a go at players in private but it conveniently gets into the next days papers is all right.
SAF wouldn't have publicly bollocked JOS.
    Really?
I wonder who let the papers know what was going on at ManU when SAF let rip.
He loved to be known for the hairdryer.

Me I prefer PDC's honest approach.
Any player that can't handle honest criticism shouldn't be playing PROFESSIONAL football.

Oh and for the record no I'm not worried already.
And no I'm not deluded or lying, we are three games into a long season.
With a young manager, that is like a breath of fresh air in a stagnant pool of overpaid tossers.
There's going to be ups there's going to be downs.

    Is he above reproach?
Of course not, I have questioned loads of his decisions.
    Especially Larsson.
    Having no Sess, etc.

PDC is still learning his trade, but under him I have seen us playing like a team, the problem is consistency and that is down to the players.

You're expecting overnight miracles from a manager who inherited a load of ****e with a very few exceptions. whilst still saying MON wasn't given enough time.
Yet want rid of PDC after 3 games.

Me I will go along for the ride.
Question his decisions and berate players who I think aren't earning their money.

    BUT!
As you will have noticed it's a big but, I will have no ****ing clue who to blame if any of our signings are ****!
    DOF or PDC.

If you are right it is the DOF.

My support is fantastic .......... I saw 16 games, last season, and was back for the 3-0 derby and the Southampton game.
Those two were from on my holidays ....... I left our lass in Florence, then Rome, and spent 3 days each time travelling to the games.

You can throw anything you like at me but, from 1000 miles away, my support is excellent.

Do you have your tickets for West Brom yet, I do ........

I wish you two would get a room or have your slanging match in private, your both coming across as first class boors at the minute, get a grip lads.......your both better than this.

If you want to challenge what somebody says why can it not be done in a friendly and constructive manner.........its not beyond both of you.

The players at Sunderland have taken the piss for long enough ........ it's time to put a stop to it.

Anyway, have a great debate, I'm away out for the day.

To be honest mate I hate his condescending repetitive lecturing so much that, to 'put him off his stroke', I act the twat.

Sadly he doesn't actually have to act ....... ;)

Seriously, I'm genuinely sorry if it's annoying for decent people like yourself, I'll bear what you've said in mind.
