Rooney with an injury which will keep him out of the game a day before the transfer window closes? #suspicious
Getting up early ( just arrived back from Michigan) to get this game in. Need a result after seeing 18-22 year olds not know the bare basics of the game, need a pick me up!
Has Vidic kicked Rooney out of Liverpool clash? United striker suffers head injury in training to give Moyes a selection scare http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...c-injure-head-Manchester-United-training.html
Would love us to win this one, but I hope its a game of football not a scrap the ref has difficulty controlling leading to daft red cards as has happened in the past. If we give it our best shot we are in with a chance, if we are not 100% then I think if VP gets one chance he will sink us.
Rooney out, which is a bonus. Battle of the midfields so: Gerrard, Lucas, henderson vs Carrick, Cleverly, Giggs? I know which I'd prefer. Keep RVP quiet, which will be hard (ish) we just need to stop the supply, hence a battle of the midfields. I'm certain we'll win that battle fairly easily - they lack any real flair from anyone. Plus Coutinho and Sturridge will run Vidic and Ferdinand in circles - pair of ****ing dinosaurs. Looking forward to this one
Hey Garlic our usernames sort of go together. I'm what happens if you eat too much of you. As for the game, we need to keep RvP quiet. But I feel the same about Sturridge for us. Would like us to play some good looking stuff, our usual high tempo and slick movement.
It's never funny when a player gets injured but, , **** it. That's massively good news for us as he was Utd's best player against Chelsea, apart from RvP the only one who seemed to have any energy. Right got to finish my breakfast then off out around midday to get settled in before the big screens for the game.
is rooney pretending to be injured then? what's the scoop over a transfer or is it "genuine" LFC have pulled that injury bollox too meny times for me to believe it anywhere when the transfer window is open. i predict.... a game of football will break out and lfc have sold all idiots who might get sent off... well one is on suspension but otherwise
No pictures so far so highly probable it's a work, either didn't happen or being exaggerated. You never know though but it seems improbable. Why would they be putting such dangerous tackles in the day before a game like this?
meh... all that matters is..... nobody will bite anyones arms off for him is guess... that says it all.
http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/143953-it-doesn-t-matter-who-s-in-the-dug-out Steven Gerrard knows it will be a strange feeling facing Manchester United without Alex Ferguson at the helm – but the skipper is not paying too much attention to who's occupying the opposition dug-out. Instead, the midfielder - who has locked horns with the Red Devils on 30 occasions during his career - is more concerned with focusing on Liverpool's game when the action gets underway at Anfield today. Gerrard is determined to make it three wins out of three for the Reds in the Barclays Premier League this season - and he's as eager as ever to send United home empty-handed. "It will be strange looking over and [Ferguson] not being in the dug-out," the skipper told Liverpoolfc.com. "He's been a fantastic servant for them, but I'm sure David Moyes will do a good job. "He did a terrific job at Everton, he's got a lot of experience and I'm sure he'll continue to do well for them, but for me my focus is on Liverpool and continuing to improve this team and moving the team forward. "I think Brendan Rodgers is doing a fantastic job. We're making huge strides, we are improving all of the time and I think that's the reason why we've started so well. "We've got two wins and we're in the next round of the cup. It's important we don't get carried away and we keep on working hard and trying to improve, and there would be nothing better than to try and get a good positive result on Sunday.
