In my opinion destined to be a Rangers favourite.
If anyone gets a chance, listen to his interview on 'Open all R's' podcast, the fella oozes class, is intelligent and can play good football too :).
Just goes to show how much his off field problems were affecting his game.

my player of the year so far, if we don't conceed we dont loose. Promotion is built on clean sheets. We kept plenty 3 seasons ago, same happening this time around.

I thought the same, he was pretty bad while his mother was struggling but hes been a different player since she passed and he moved to CB.

Totally agree, last season he was between a rock and a hard place, this season he's been a rock

Before this season started, I made a thread asking people to guess their player of the season in advance. And my guess was Onuoha.

Spot on. The are building up his media presence now, lots of interviews, and he seems like a good bloke.

Was it NW? or was he being talked of then but it wasn't until Hughes came in that he signed? I suspect it was more of a club (aka TF) signing than the manager.

Isnt it nice to see one of our own grow into a role and still know hes going to be here in 3 or 4 years time at least?

Same will hopefully happen with hoilett and Philips on the wings.

I do hope so Staines. I'm going to hold off on this one for the time being. I thought the same things about Stephanie Mbia when I heard his interviews last year. He sounded intelligent, classy and driven. But he turned out to be a clown.

Others had similar impressions of Granero when he talked but he turned out to be all bluff and bluster too.

Ned is going good. I hope he continues in his current vein.
