Listened a couple of hours ago, both Robbie Savage and Chris Waddle tipping us to get relegated saying we just don't have the fire power to stay up. Apparently Steve Bruce said when he was at Birmingham "you're only as good as your strikers".

They said Huddleston and Livermore wouldn't keep us up as they're used to playing with good players or that's how I interpreted their comments.

The more people that write us off, the better as far as I'm concerned.

Savage has no right to say what a good player technically is. He was ****e.

Saying that - Savage said his 'player to watch' was Brady - so is he no good then now?

I bet they think Palace are more likely to stay up as well.

At the end of the day, I don't care about their comments.

At the show started I was getting ready to go out, the presenter asked Savage and Waddle which 2 players that impressed them outside the big clubs, or something along those lines, Savage said Robby Brady & Waddle said Frazier Campbell. Did they say more about it later in the show?

It's true though, we won't stay up unless we address goal scoring. I'm not sure Sagbo and Graham have enough in them to score us enough goals. Rodallega will go some way to addressing that (if we sign him) plus one other. Proschwitz hasn't done enough and though I want him to succeed, he has had a season in the Championship. Fryatt looks like he's off. McLean has been told he can leave. I think you need a minimum of 4 strikers at this level that can pose a goal threat.

This was one department that required more surgery than almost any other, we've been hopeless in front of goal for an age now.

I was out in the car and they started previewing the Man City match tomorrow which is when they got on to the topic. Think it was about 8.10/8.20pm.

Would like to remember more, but my memory is not too great!

I agree with most of what you say, however, I'm still going to stick up for Prozzy because he's had very very little actual playing time. Simpson scored very few, but still got to start the majority of matches whether Nick got the odd7/8 mins here and there and I'm not sure how you can aclimatise with too little playing time. He played v well in the last game of the season too.

I also fear this season Graham will play a lot and do very little. I don't mind if he's making an effort, but from what I've seen so far he's not fighting for balls he should be, but that's just my opinion.

I don't see what we've got to lose if Nick gets a few games, but then I'm getting off topic here and promised myself I would give up the NP crusade....

I was of the same opinion regarding NP, but I just don't think he has the physical side of the game in his locker. Technically he might be very good, but he just doesn't like getting stuck in. An important facet of the English game.

We'd lose the games a start, he's ****e and Brucey is only too aware of it.

Bruce's comments from the other day pretty much signal the end for Proschwitz. He basically stated he was wrong to sign him.

There's a big doubt over our strikers and the manager has acknowledged that; unless we strengthen they are probably right.

Waddle can't even say the word "penalty" and Savage is a ****ing Dulux dog.

They're two of the thickest people in football and their opinions mean less than those of my cat (who is ambivalent about City's survival chances).

Waddle is worse at commentating and match punditry than he was at playing football in an England shirt!
Why the BBC reemployed the hollow vessel I will never understand, makes you want to withhold the licence fee.
