This is an article on the BBC regarding how transfers work. I think they may have been talking about Saints and Wanyama in this paragraph: "One club signed a player who broke their transfer record this summer but simply refused to pander to the agent. When the player checked in at his hotel ahead of the medical, no room was booked for the agent. No flight had been booked. Their deal was with the player. But agents should not be seen as the bad guys, they are advisors and, like referees, you don't hear much from the very best ones." Well done Nicola if it was us. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23911157
Someones trying to buy Cork apparently but we are not selling him. Also i Isgrove and rowe are being loaned out
He also used to write to FC Porto each Monday telling them what tactics/substitutions he would have made and where they went wrong haha.
Cork didn't even make the bench today. Bit of a worry for him but I still feel he is our 3rd choice cdm and as such will get a fair bit of game time.
yeah possibly, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-zUA3Y_Bs0&feature=youtu.be he's moving freely herethough not that that is a strong indication.
Don't think cork is going anywhere unless a more attacking midfielder is being lined up. We do have three similar mids in cork, schneiderlin and wanyama so perhaps we might sell cork but I doubt it atm.
Could be a busy couple of days for a number of clubs, namely Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, and Crystal Palace by the sounds of it. Palace have signed Jack Hunt, Huddersfield's highly rated right back, and Jimmy Kebe from Reading. DeMichelis to City almost a certainty after Alderweireld moved to Atletico Madrid. Liverpool expected to sign Ilori from Sporting Lisbon, and Mamadou Sakho from PSG. Both CBs and have had medicals. Also close to completing a loan deal for Victor Moses, a rumoured target for us.
Man Utd to sign Fellaini, with Everton likely to sign James McCarthy, is a rumour doing the rounds. Wigan would also get Nick Powell on loan from United. Bit of a merry go-round.
There have been a couple of players down with a bad throat, including Guly, so Cork could have that. Surely, he would have been on the bench if fit...unless being sold (wash my mouth out with soap ).
I wish we played the Chelsea role in this case, but rumour has it that he will be at Anfield this afternoon.
If Moses does indeed go there (shame for us, again), I wonder if Liverpool would consider loaning Sterling out for the season, to get some first team football. (I'm not suggesting that we go in for him though, should he become available. At present I think he's still too raw, and arguably not good enough. Would rather see Isgrove or Rowe given a go before signing someone like Sterling)
