With the Swans not playing there is no harm in looking at the other matches 12.45pm Man Citeh 2 Hull 0 (Result) 3pm Kairdiff v Toffees Toons v Cottagers Canaries v Saints Hammers v Potters Eagles v Mackems
Not too bad at the moment - it frees up the weekend. But from the teams point of view we are playing catch up.
I am guessing, thanks to the Europa League, Saturday games will become a thing of the past for the rest of this calendar year?
Just about. Even when there's no Europa games our matches have been moved for Sky (Liverpool, Arsenal and Cardiff). Our 1st Saturday 3pm home match is against Sunderland on Oct 19th the next one after that is in December against Hull. Our first away game at 3pm on a Saturday is at Fulham on 23rd November, next one after that is on December 28th to Villa. In case you haven't realised yet we've got a game against St Gallen on Thursday 12th December and on the following Saturday we are scheduled to play at Carrow Road, you better make a note in your diary Thai and keep Sunday 15th free
What does bug, is as most of our games will be on Sundays, is my boy plays football at 2.00pm on Sundays arghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Its gonna be annoying this season, I used to have a little routine, Saturday were days for football, and Sundays was the day I was the manager (online game) thats all gone to **** now, so gonna have nothing to do on most Saturdays Ah well, could always go play golf i suppose.
I wonder if Laudrup will throw in the towel for the other cup games? Birmingham away, and the FA cup. It could be really bad for our Prem season
A Cardiff home game get's 5live coverage two saturdays on the trot? Come on...they were home to City last time of course so it makes sense, but today? Really?
Been watching the Cardiff game and I cant believe what they are getting away with , the ref is having a mare, turned down a clear everton penalty and letting Cardiff hack the everton boys all game, belamy clearly elbows baines in the face, not even a yellow card or a talking to. Cardiff playing some decent stuff but everton are on top 60/40 to everton in possession
Agreed Norway. In this half they've had more dodgy decisions go their way than we've had in 2 seasons. I wonder how much Tan's paying him If Everton can't beat these today when they are so on top I fear this is all going to go horribly wrong for Martinez. Can't believe he's spent £5 million + on Kone, wouldn't fancy him to come off the bench and get the goal they need. P.S. - You missed out Barkley clearly getting the ball in the tackle, the ref letting play go, and then the linesman flags and the ref changes his mind and gives the free-kick.....and then books him!!!!. ****ing twilight zone stuff.
"P.S. - You missed out Barkley clearly getting the ball in the tackle, the ref letting play go, and then the linesman flags and the ref changes his mind and gives the free-kick.....and then books him!!!!. ****ing twilight zone stuff". maybe he called it because it was on the blind side of the ref.......or you can see it with your own specs on of course
No I saw it, lovely tackle by the boy but somehow turned into a yellow card ! Cardiff were on the rack for 90 mins but had some chances to grab a goal themselves, overall ive seen enough to think they have what it tales to stay up, malkey has them working their bollocks off closing down space, they are the typical Anti Swans team ! I also thought their Korean player was the best for them today,he done really well. A word about Caulker. Is it written into his contract that he can make forward runs when ver he likes ? a few times I seen him either staying up after corners or over lapping midfielders to go on the attck! what the fook is that all about ? He still seems big time Charlie so maybe it is written into his contract after all . Well done Cardiff on a great point
A hard earned point with the referee being good to us today. Kim ran his nuts off and was clearly tiring. Medel look a quality defensive midfielder with a bit of a bite. Overall a good performance but other teams will make more of the posession they are given. I feel we should be making more of a go against teams like Everton rather than hoping to get them on the break. However, if it keeps us safe and we retain our premier league status then fair play.
