Going slightly off topic but just this post only in the hope you buggers all spit your tea out.

    Ben Shephard is my hero

I'm watching the Chelsea game on sky and as the teams were coming on the field at the start he said.....

"The reason this game is in Prague is because Michel Platini wanted the super cup final to be moved and played at grounds where there was little or no chance of seeing European football. Next season it's at Cardiff City"

I fell off the settee ;)

All it takes is one red bird in the future (and it will happen) to come on here and go blah blah we're the capital blah blah and out it will come. I'm going to take great pleasure in telling them why they're having it. Unless of course someone beats me to it, you wouldn't do that would you Vetch ;)

I can only tell you my habit, for what it's worth! Firstly once the kettle is boiled and the teapot filled (Ceylon or combo of Ceylon and Asam) and brewed and served and enjoyed, the remaining water from the kettle once cooled then goes into a Aqua filter jug, then refrigerated for serving as cool still water at a later time, with slice of lemon!

We always fill a fresh kettle for every teapot!.............

Here's a song I used to sing to my kids. Try it.
All I want is a proper cup of coffee,
Made in a proper copper coffee pot.
I may be off my lot, but I want a cup of coffee from a proper copper pot.
A tin coffee pot and a steel coffee pot,
    They're no use to me
If I cant have a proper cup of coffee from a proper copper coffee pot
I'll have a cup of tea.
