I don't drink the beer at grounds because it's generally over priced slop in plastic containers served badly after a long queue, but the video shows a possible solution. Downsides I can see are; 1. I reckon the purists won't like it, but surely it can't be worse than existing? 2. It works by a flat magnetic disc in the base. Can we be trusted to not throw them? theres a little leprechaun hiding under the counter and he blows the Bud through a straw into the glass from the bottom
With regards to not throwing them, Leicester take the lids off their bottles when you buy them. I don't know how much difference that makes, you can still throw a bottle on the pitch. I guess it's to stop you throwing bottles with liquid in to give it weight. Mind you, stuff a half eaten hotdog in there and you're set.
Having sampled the lager at the KC, I think they may be doing this.
This is genius but so simple, we should get them, it would make the serving times so much faster When the glass is lifted from the pump, the magnet seals the hole, its pretty simple plus half the beer isin't foam Get them at the kc
Not sure that the purists will be too critical. They all came out pretty well and sports grounds have not provided a decent beer to anyone for a while, never mind 'purists'. That thing looked great though, mind-boggling and practical at the same time. I bet the cups cost slightly more though, which will translate into more for the fans.
