    CAREFUL DIAKITE MANAGEMENT
    Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Thu, 08/29/2013 - 08:08
Sunderland boss Paolo di Canio has explained his gradual introduction of Modibo Diakite.

Di Canio points out the former Lazio man is still easing his way into action after missing most of last season through injury and then picking up a hamstring problem soon after arriving in England.

He said: “You can imagine what it is like after one year without a real match.

“However, there was a reason why I played him in a tough game at Southampton.

“He did very well, but it will take him a few games.

“It is clear what he brings to the team.

“He is not the tallest one, but he jumps a lot and he has time on the ball which is crucial."

Jozy will if he gets the ball to his feet, not in the air.

He is obviously comparing him to Peter Crouch, Lacina Traore, and Jan Koller. Technically he is right.
