He's probably expecting the worse.....thinks its the norm! Me personally I am cautiously optimistic! If we had kept with the same formula as last season we would almost certainly have gone down this season! With the regime we have now we have a chance! Despite being deflated by the fixture list, and the mediocre start, I'd like to think that we will still be ok!
We will be down there like but the performances will be better and the losses will be better as well (if thats make sense). People forget this is a long term project, we won see the benefits of the new recruitment, coaching etc until next season or even season after that. As long as we stay up and improve on last year then that is enough to start with, we should improve as the season goes on, I expect a strong finish to the season and always expected a rocky start.
Did we not dominate them, which shows how poor fulham are, arsenal really could have scored 10 if walcott had his shooting boots on!!
So if he's coming across as a depressed person why in the hell are you encouraging me to be out an out abusive. Perhaps if the OP offered more than putting people down then most of the time, people won't do it to him. I'm not saying his knowledge of football is none existent and requesting him not to comment further on that bases. Something I've seen him do a few times. I've acknowledged opinion is not a matter of fact and I've backed my views with positive and negative points? What more do you want from me? This all a bit rich mate if you know what I mean. You've been quite brutal to fellow posters plenty in the past. I Guess pots give kettles the best advice huh?
I just want the lad to lighten up and explore the positives as well as the negatives. If i hated the lad I'd have just told him to **** off. He needs to replace dread with pride like he will no doubt once had. He deserves to enjoy supporting his club. I won't give up and just let him mope. Maybe I went about it the wrong way.
I'm surprised at the assumption that we will pick up lots of home wins at the second half of the season! These games will be a lot harder if we are in the relegation zone! The pressure will certainly be on! Last season we had a run of about 5 'winnable' games that we were all looking forward to. Games which would guarantee our safety! However the pressure was on! How many did we win????? NONE!!!!!! Hopefully our mentality and confidence will be better under Di Canio cos it was totally deflated under O Neill!!!! PS. Our run of 'winnable' home games will inevitably be rudely interrupted by incredibly 'unwinnable' away games! Are people forgetting this! Its gonna be hard to string wins (and confidence) together!
Guess that's just my nature fella, it all seems a bit limp wristed, going around the houses, everyone is scared to upset others these days.. For what reason, i've no idea, but after seeing someone was banned yesterday, i guess that may explain it.......(no mods i'm not having a pop, i don't know what happened , and have no desire to find out) ps Bri, don't give a second thought to what i type, i'm full of ****e.....my views are mine, owt else, i'll take the piss, nowt meant by it.
You're one of my favorite posters fella. I could argue with a mute mate. I'm heated in debate and understand I wind people up with it. Feel sorry for my lass.
Bottom line is, is that it wouldn't surprise me if we shock a few people and do really well! It also wouldn't surprise me if we have an utter nightmare, implode, and get relegated! Its all up in the air! One day I'm optimistic, the next I'm worried! 3 points against Palace, we could finish top half, 0 points, ****, we're ****ed! hahahah!
Well we'll shock a few of the big boys for sure, there is one things for certain this season. One gane we'll get a ****ing hammering, but as day is night, we'll give another club a humiliation.
