Abuse given to Gouffran over that miss -.-

I don't use Twitter that often, but I heard from people that do that some ****ing ******s have been giving him grief for the miss. It was a shocking miss, but it was one that he had to snap at and had no time to think about.

Giving the bloke abuse about it will not help. He's been mostly excellent since he's come here, lets get behind the sexy french bastard.

Its sad that a player with talent gets abuse for one miss but Shola, who has thirteen years of wretchedness for this club, gets respect from alot of people due to him being a 'local lad' despite the fact that he has embarrassed himself on literally hundreds of occasions.

If Shola had missed that he would have been slated big style.Gouffrran is a better player,however scoring average is about 1 in 5 and Shola has about 1 in 6 and probably played in a harder league for the majority of his time.As some people say don't knock the players,support the team.

I use twitter, I very rarely post on it, I did invite Joey Barton for a game of golf (never replied) but would never use it as a medium for targetting abuse at someone.

It's ironic how this is supposed to be a 'get behind the lads' and how 'disgusting' it is to criticize our players, when he goes on a pretty abusive rant about Shola in the same breath.

Ameobi may not be the best player we've ever had, but he's given us his fair share of goals, and could have left for first-team football on several occasions, but didn't. Just because he's not got the talent of some players, doesn't mean we should abuse him til the cows come home.
