col u airfix stadium is well out of the way which doesnt help,and as ron mentioned diesel costs have gone through the roof and i think that there must be a few of their fans that dont live in colchester that have to travel to get to home games.look at wycombes following they come from all over the place.
I hate to say it but a lot of the guys that fill up the stadium are glory supporters. We have around 4,000 solid supporters that will stick with Colchester through thick and thin. But unless Leeds or Norwich are playing then we don't get a 10,000 gate. If we did get to the Championship though, I would suggest we would probably get around 10,000 fans every game. But I don't really care about the numbers, as long as our fans are passionate.
Yeah, we are pretty much the same. As Rocky well knows, it does my head in when you stand in the same position every home game and then find a load of glory hunters in your spot when a big game comes along. Fortunately, Rocky is a big lump, so we just send him in first to barge a few out of the way and then tae our normal place. Problem is, we like to make the most of our drinking time so only get in to the ground about 2.55pm. If Rocky doesn't barge em outta the way then the alcohol fumes usually puts em off
Or when I went to the Chelsea match and people called me a glory supporter, even though I'd been to most matches that season.
Hey there fellow Chairboys. It would be frankly awesome to get Donnelly on a season long loan, he will make the difference between us staying up or getting relegated, I'd be more excited than when we signed Tommy Mooney, that was brilliant!

lol Rocky, that was one of the funniest moments of the season, seing you lose it with that smelly urchin!!! Probably didn't help that we were taking the piss out of you for most of the afternoon. I seem to recal the chants of "Rocky's Rent Boy" !!!!!
yeh cheers for that slasher ,i will get you and lee back for that one,i just couldnt handle it he followed us every where that day ,the pirate wanted to knock him out before we got to the ground,i dont think he will come anywhere near us in future.
