She paid most of the deposit and the ex acknowledged this via email. He received his 300 of the deposit in full. He was technically the lead tenant although had not lived there for 18m and only paid a small part of. She did infactct pay back that 300 when he left so really she is owed all of it, although there is no record of it.

I can assure you none of the details have been fabricated, the inspection stated that there were some areas beyond normal wear and tear but damage was minimal. From the behaviour of the estate agent its clear that they are so far up Ruperts arse its unreal.

Bit surprise at this response, of course its Saints related? A fellow Saints supporter has made an impassioned cry for help from fellow supporters which relates to an incident with a former chairman of our club, compared to some of the obscure subjects debated on this forum at times this is definitely of interest to Saints followers?

Lowe was the Southampton chairman for a long time. No its not related to current saints news but we see more tenuous topics discussed.

Yes disputes do happen all the time but she was evicted through no fault of her own and now the landlord has taken 100% of the deposit. Thought being in a legal dispute with our ex chairman might raise a few eyebrows.

This kind of story would be lapped up by the Daily Echo. I remember I recent story about a Dispute with Lee Barnard that was published. I consider an ex chairman more interesting as saints related than Lee Barnard but that's just me.

I have every sympathy for the tenant, and my sympathy for Lowe was exhausted years ago BUT ......

The OP needs to be careful putting this into the public arena. I have a son who is specialises in litigation and particularly loves taking on Goliath when David finds his slingshot is crap. He is forever cautioning his clients against saying anything until a case is closed and he wins 99% of the time. High rollers don't want to lose and will spend absurd amounts to make sure they don't. The slightest hint of a possible counter-claim of defamation is manna from heaven for them. My advice is simple - get a good solicitor and beat the bugger in court. Then tell us and we'll pop the champagne!

    Good luck, mate

Wasn't there a story going back a year or so about an ex player and our beloved chairman having a spat over something to do with a house........It was considered to be Saints related then.......Surely this is a similar story and is worth discussing on here now.
Again it is about someone who was involved with Saints while I agree the other may not be but still worth discussion.
Just remember though all the accusations about Lowe's involvement is alleged and should not be considered fact until decided by the courts.
So far as I can see people have not actually said much about Lowe's possible involvement other than some have said they don't like him and that it would go along with his character if true.....In there opinion that is.........

I just don't like the fact that everyone is anonymous, including the original poster, apart from Lowe.

I wouldn't mind if there was some practical reason for mentioning this, ie we could do something to help (that is assuming that the story is 100% accurate and in my experience it never is), but this is just blatant, boring Lowe bashing which I find simply tedious.

    Will it go on forever?

Sorry would you like me to post my girlfriends name, my name, the estate agents name etc. I will assume you are painfully stupid- until the matter is resolved nothing will be mentioned that will give away my partners identity. Its not just Lower bashing- he occupies a very small/non-existent proportion of my waking thoughts. I was drawn to the fact that the contract was for "Lowe holdings ltd". I did some digging.....

And do I have to remind you that this forum Is anonymous. My name is not Lovelocum.

I hear that Jimbo is finally quitting Ipswich. He's moving onto greater things. QPR looks likely. He'll fit them just nicely.

Lovelocum, you are obvuliously really close to this situation and it is emotional for you; notated what anyone posts up, there is no real need to get abusive. If you didn't really want to have people raise any "flip" side, you should never have posted it up. Any thread is always going to have more than one opinion and risk having someone say something against it. You have to expect that at deal with it without the abuse.

I did not intend to be overtly offensive. It just seems silly to chip in with a remark like "i don't like the fact that everyone is anonymous" when we are on a forum that is anonymous. Its not a statement to the courts its a true story involving Lowe holdings. Of course Im not going to reveal my identity or my partners. IF it goes to court then of course I will contract the press if they're interested and then I would be happy to give names dates e-mails letters etc.

I did not expect anyone to really help in any way but thought the fact that lowe is (amongst other things) a private landlord operating above the law might be of interest. Of course it would be of more interest if it were published and there would be less questions.

My point is that its easy to point the finger and be abusive etc etc when one is anonymous. In some ways that is the problem with forums such as these. Maybe people would be more pleasant if it were not anonymous. I was not suggesting that you should not print your partner's details but that you are happy to put in details where it suits you.

I hope you get it sorted in your favour, I really do. I am not commenting on the rights and wrongs of the case. I am simply sick of yet more Lowe bashing which is what this is really about by nature of the fact that you posted it on this forum. If it was "Joe Bloggs" you would not have posted it on here obviously, so this is not about the situation its about Lowe.
