I think we should keep him - think those injuries had taken their toll and hopefully he can now progress

Agree with the last 2 posts about Anita and Gosling.

Good really impressed me last night - he seemed to read the game well - got a bit roughed up at set plays, but given the size of their squad that was inevitable and hopefully he'll learn from it.

Dummett had another assured game - nice to see him giving some verbals to other players as well

Vuckic looked a bit lost, but given the injury he's had he probably just needs game time - might have been interesting to see how he performed if he'd had Shola alongside to hold up play for him to move on to.

All in all a tricky tie I guess - at least we're into the next round

If only the manager got us playing well. A 'deserved' 3-0 thumping of Fulham on the weekend would do absolute wonder. I mean, it just beggars belief that it's so polarized - we must have around £50m to actually spend (depending how lenient the owner is towards the monies owed) and if we could just bring in two if not three decent enough players coupled with just ONE solid performance, we'd be well set!! I'm hoping this cup win will be the catalyst, but we've been here before - didn't we beat Chelsea 3-2 just a fortnight before Reading rolled us over at home last season?

I have to say Dummett and Good really impressed me. The two best things to come out of last night. Particularly Dummett, this lad looks a genuine first team option. He has to play at present. Either Santon goes down the wing or moves over to right back. To be fair to Santon after his defensive woes last season, I thought he was excellent against West Ham and seemed a little more mature in his selection of raids forward. I think young Good is a better option than Willo. Is Willo fit? He must be going if so.

Probably. I think we need to see him against Premier League opposition before we can state that with any real confidence though.

Very true but just on the face of it he looks like a more mobile/athletic option. Too often Willo looks a bit archaic in his approach. Willo is 100% and I don't actually think he is as bad as some suggest, and I don't have the same anger towards him. For me he tries his level best but just falls a little below the PL level. No shame in that and I appreciate his honest approach and professionalism. I just don't think you can carry him. Good look more assured than Mbiwa. Am I the only one concerned by how often Mbiwa surrenders possession on the edge of our box regualrly via poor passes or being muscled off the ball? It worries me.

Interesting that Streete was selected on the bench. Be surprised to see Willo content being, what, 6th choice?

Williamson's signed up till 2016 but if an offer came in for him I'm sure he'd be away.

JFK hasn't reared his ugly face at a home game (yet)
