So hypothetically if he signed back for us next season (after Cardiff get relegated), you would not cheer when he scored a goal?
Just like people wouldn't cheer for Marlon King or Jimmy Bullard if they came back all guns blazing... lol
I would support any player who was playing for us, if I can tolerate Marlon King, I can tolerate anyone.
He's got 9 in 14 games for Cardiff - admittedly most were in the Championship. Cardiff seem to know how to take advantage of his abilities. Sunderland (Bruce?) didn't - or at least didn't treat it as a priority.
He's played 71 Premier League games, he's scored 9 Premier League goals, before yesterday he scored one in ten and that was under four different managers.
We could have had him from Sunderland for less than 1 million last January. What a difference he would have made to our front line. Malky says he's worth "multi-millions". Cardiff got the steal of the year!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23839660
Headed 2 goals (not easy), made the third, nearly scored 2 more with his breakaway speed before HT. And we chose Graham instead from Sunderland. How many will he score on Saturday?
Put it this way. If Vincent Kompany had been playing Manchester City would have won the game and FC would not have scored. FC took advantage of woeful defending. That is why i think we can do something on saturday. Without Kompany Man City are poor at the back. All we have to do now is shut down Yaya Toure and Silva.
simple as that eh tickles? No need to worry about Aguero, Navas, Dzeko or any of their other players then?
Too true CANADA and St Louis - I can't believe the antipathy that still exists towards Fraizer on here. I'm well aware of the history between him (his father?) and your club, and can understand the reluctance to give him credit for anything. The fact is some of you need to open your minds, not just vent your spleen. Fraizer Campbell is a sheer quality striker who will make a huge mark on our season this year and was an absolute steal for £650k from Sunderland. O'Neill must have been listening to you lot to get it so wrong. His performances so far are only the start. His pace is electric, and if our other players support him on his runs rather than just bloody watch him (Gunnarson apart who is going to be another star), then we will be OK this season. Good win for you guys with 10 men against Norwich - let's face it, any win up here in the stratosphere is a good win for both of us.
Well said Sparkey. Congratulations on a brilliant performance by your lot last Sunday. Campbell was bloody brilliant and I hope Woy was taking note. If he stays healthy he'll be a strong contender for the World Cup squad with his electric pace and goal grabbing ability. Oh how I wish we'd got him. Your defense too is very solid like ours. Unfortunately we are limited in the striker department unless SB gives Brady a serious run up front. But our mid-field is far better than last year with Thudd and Livermore in the centre. Good luck for the rest of the season after your visit to the KC on the 14th. Should be a great game. But we need to keep FC in check!!
CANADA - you lot were my pick to come up with us last year because my own past personal connections with Hull that I've mentioned on here before. Staying up will not be easy for either of us and I expect it's fair to say that each others losses are going to be a bonus for the other - in other words, club loyalty rules. For my part, I think FC is a such a bonus to have at our club, and I don't mind admitting that I find some of the stuff about him on here a bit OTT. OK, so he or maybe his father pissed you about before, but that doesn't detract from his ability as a footballer. I wish you and your fellow Hull supporters the very best of luck this season, and as long as we stay up, I hope you do to. .......I will say though, on the other hand if one of us has to go down, I hope it's you!.........
Why when i watch science programs do they constantly go on about chelsea's mata? Is he a scientist out of football or what?
There's a world of difference between slating a guy for his apparent snub of your club, and then using it to base an opinion as to his ability on the pitch. The truth of the matter is that if he had gone back to you instead of Sunderland and eventually to us at Cardiff, he would have been talked up on here instead of being denigrated as a poor excuse for a striker because he chose another club. Your opinions are up to you, but don't let the off-pitch political past cloud your footballing judgement of the guy. I hope we can enjoy some chat on here during the international break about our visit to the KC immediately afterwards. Enjoyed last season when we both going for auto promotion - hope to enjoy it again this year as we both go for auto safety.
