Is there a reason that we are nor being linked with him? I thought it was an obvious one for speculation. Should we renew our interest in him? Certainly has the ability to do a good job at this level. If he isn't the 'right sort', why were we trying to sign him before?

I've read that Cardiff and Swansea are battling it out for his signature. He'll surely get a move before the window shuts, although I can see it being very last minute.
Can't imagine Laudrup being interested in him, hardly a Swans type of player......Cardiff could well believe it as they will need all the help they can get and their owner seems to have money to burn.....sounds familiar for some reason!!!!!

The exact reason we shouldn't have him, whats is there to get excited about a 30 something journeyman. I don't rate Lambert that much but admire his belief in youth. Thats where we should be at. Never thought id lose interest in my Rangers :-(
