Some guy who said we would be signing Lisandro Magallan in January and we didn't. Not really reliable, although I really want this guy. Great defender. Surely Man City should be after him though??
A lot of these feel a bit like "window's about to close let's make some stuff up" - delighted to be proved wrong though.
Well Pochettino denied we were interested specifically in Ba, Moses or anyone else in today's press conference, but said cryptically that we are monitoring the market, and that every team was looking to bring in one more player.
If we are in for Moses we have a good chance of getting him thanks to Pochettino's friendship with Mourinho.
I think every manager in the league considers himself a friend of Mourinho, so I wouldn't imagine we'll get any preferential treatment. And besides, I think the press made a lot of Pochettino saying they were acquaintances, I doubt they're really that close. We'd be more likely to get him over Liverpool because he has a better chance of playing here and we're not going to be competing with Chelsea for the champions league places (Liverpool might not either but Chelsea aren't going to risk it).
