Justanothervillain: If you are going to come on this board then either be constructive, or contribute something that could be construed as banter. You have posted two rather pathetic comments about John Terry today, neither of which were relevant or even intelligent.
You poor soul, OP. Mark Hughes is coming in with Guus Hiddink as Director of football Remember; the great bosses never work under that structure.
Norwich fan in peace............... From the outside, looking in I would normally say that bringing back a former and successful manager would be a bad idea. We did it with Mike Walker. 1st reign was the best period in our history, then Everton took him from us. He went on to fail at Everton and the team he built at Carrow Road was dismantled. Couple of years later Walker was made manager again. With high hopes in the Norwich faithful the future looked better again - wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong & wrong again - it was a disaster. However - in this case I think Jose is 'your' man. It always looked like a marriage made in heaven and his record with Chelsea (as is it everywhere he goes) was simply outstanding. While Chelsea have remained at the top end of the PL since his departure, and still one of the best teams, something seems to be missing - consistancy, as highlighted at the end of last year. That terrible run of results would never have happened with Jose running the show.
I think that Micky Muppet Droy should be your next manager As for Thai and his Naawich team, your certs to finish last under that knobhead Lambert
I dont want Jose back but how any Chelsea fan can slag him off is beyond me. We dont win the title for over 50 years he comes in and does it back to back, for the whole of 2005 we were so much better than the rest in England if not Europe it was embarrassing and there was not really one thing any one else could say to us, that was all Jose's work.
And even in the year we didn't win the league he still won us our first ever domestic cup double. The man is and was a legend. I would have him back but that is not to ignore some of the poor performances in the final year of his reign. But then how much of that was due to bringing in sheva (clearly a roman signing) and having to re-work our formation (the diamond coming in at the expense of 433)??? He was a winner and got right up wenger's nose. That's good enough for me!!
Jose is a legend and did a great job for Chelsea but I´m not convinced it would be right to bring him back. Maybe a bit further down the line but not now. Personally I find the idea of bringing back Villas-Boas much more appealing. Former Chelsea man and he wouldn´t have the baggage that Jose brings with him. Having said that it looks like Villas-Boas wants to stay at Porto for another year and you can´t blame him as Porto is his boyhood club and he´ll have a crack at the Champions League with them next season. Fair play. For the moment I´m warming to the idea of Hughes as coach with Hiddink as Director. I feel it might work well although like any managerial appointment it´s a gamble as Hughes has no CL experience as a coach.
