    Inspired from a conversation elsewhere.

With the Man Utd game coming up this weekend I mentioned that I'm a real pain with this fixture and have to watch it in a room by myself as I will swear and lose my temper at every little mistake we make.

I stopped going to the pub aftere the FA Cup game when Solskjaer scored 2 to put them through, I was thrown out that day for an incident with a Man Utd fan.

So what are you like when we lose or things go wrong for us in games, what have you broken, who have you verbally attacked?

I can't say I have ever verball attacked anyone during a match, but I sure as hell get worked up. The C word makes an appearance quite a bit, and if we lose if puts me in a foul mood and more likely I end it up in argument with the missus later that day. Ah the Joys of football!

The only thing that makes me see red is when the ref does us. Mistakes happen but the red mist descended when one Mr Halsey sent off Shelvey and then awarded a penalty for an imaginary foul. Basically everyone at this stage knows not to even broach the subject of football after such games where the ref does us.

I wouldn't attack anyone even a manc, I just become father jack (without his drink)

As ever, I will be watching it with two United fans.. When we score I scream in there faces and start singing fields of Anfield road (basically act like a ****).. Usually when the games on I play down everything by saying they're more likely to score (softening the blow) and when they score I just give a smile when inside I want to smash everything in the houses, including their faces. But trust me, the times we win they never hear the end of it.. They get reminded of the 4-1 at OT daily. <laugh>

I just remain totally calm throughout.

  6. Never verbally or physically attacked anyone. Get very annoyed with referees when they have a stinker, same with our players when they fail to do the simple things.

I'm getting very frustrated with our second half performances at the minute and will start to lose it within two or three games if it doesn't change <laugh>

Most likely I'll be watching this somewhere where Utd fans, who are friends/acquaintances, will be in close proximity. Need the big screens for the big match rather than the tiny live stream. If there are other LFC fans around will obviously get into it more in terms of both support/banter. If I know and like the opposition fans then they'll get an easier ride but if I don't like them / they are strangers then it's always nice to wind them up.

The balance of support in Latchford is in favour of the mancs. Care has to be taken to avoid physical damage <yikes> I'm not very good at that whatever the result <laugh>

I have to watch it at home or at a mate's flat. I get too wound-up and scream at the tv (I KNOW they can't hear me!). So I'm hell to be with for the match itself but generally cool down fairly quickly when it's over.

i am relegated to the spare telly upstairs for this match, i am not even allowed to think about going the pub, too many incidents over the years.

After the match,if we have won i am a joy to be around. the sun is shining, the birds are singing. If we lose, nobody will come within 2 miles of me. i am a ****ing nightmare.

I've been described as "Rabid" by fellow reds when watching this one - I certainly feel like I've been 'through it' by the end. Wouldn't call it a tantrum, but certainly I do get a little animated - bollocking players who, being miles away, have no chance of hearing my words of wisdom.

Yelling at players to track back, put a ****ing shift in, you lazy ****! If your wages were in the ball you'd be more ****ing careful with it, you couldn't score in a brothel with a tenner round your todger, shoot for ****s sake!!!

  14. Anyone else do the 'games console' approach...? Ie, make a heading movement when a player goes for a header?

    Of course!

The only time I seriously got into trouble watching football was in the KOP. St. John raced into the area and laid on a delightful ball for Hunt to run on to. As Hunt pulled his foot back I was watching intently and hadn't noticed that I'd pulled my foot back too. Hunt blasted the ball into the back of the net just as the fella in front of let out a scream of pain and collapsed to the floor!

When he did get up I had such a lot of apologising to do - just to stop myself from getting battered. I'm glad Hunt scored otherwise I think I'd have been dead. He was a big fella and I was about 14!!!!
