    keep Jose
    release Shola but its never going to happen
    release Smith
    keep Guthrie
    give Lover another year if we're still short on strikers and he's still alright

    Jose Enrique - renew 5yr
    Shola Ameobi - sell asap throw in perch as his PA
    Alan Smith - release now
    Danny Guthrie - renew but a 2yr deal at tops by then hopefully our squad will improve and he won't be needed in 2yrs time
    Peter Lovenkrands - release please god get rid of him now

    Jose Enrique - 5 year
    Shola Ameobi - 5 year (it wouldn't be NUFC without him!)
    Alan Smith - Sell ASAP
    Danny Guthrie - 5 year (low wages)
    Peter Lovenkrands - 3 year (or just until he retires, he's good back up and plays well when he doesn't have Shola as a strike partner)

    No one will come in for Ameobi - so we will no doubt give him another 5 years *sigh*!
    Lover gives us more than Ameobi, give him another year!
    Guthrie - 2yr contract
    Smudger - has to go...
    Barton is obviously not going to be offered a new contract - however, he is probably our best player but hey that's the joy of supporting the Toon!!
    Enrique - just pay him whatever it takes to get him sign a 5 year contract!!
