Who is to say he doesn't then ?

Its only some peoples opinion that he"doesnt put a shift in" at the end of the day we don't know what instructions are being given out to the team, I know Laudrup is big on not overloading players in certain areas .
Im not disagreeing 100% though, but like I said earlier on a point nobody bothered to take me up on, JDG has flaws in his game just like almost every other player in our team! if he could tackle back track his runners as well as provide assists and score goals he wouldn't be playing for Swansea city !!

All our players have things to improve on and some days they will be great and some days they will be indifferent .

Its early days for JDG he is behind everyone else in terms of fitness and sharpness lets give the guy a break and try and be positive towards him, its a difficult run of matches coming up and all our players need our support, which I know is not an issue with our 606ers in fairness <ok>

I certainly think Ki has the ability, hes one was one of those players you 'will' to do well when on the ball last, if you get what I mean but never seemed to quite achieve what hes capable of.
As previously mentioned, he wasn't a ML signing and Im guessing he knows it, maybe that is effecting him. Ita certainly a make or break season for him this year if hes staying, I hope he does.
On the JDG front, again have to agree hes not wasn't at his best Sunday, but with recent injuries thats to be accepted. Maybe ML should not have picked him and given him more time to recouperate?

I doubt you will ever turn the likes of deGuzman and Hernandez into hard tacklers - a feather duster would do better, but their strengths lie elsewhere, so it's something you either accept or don't. I'm ok with it myself.

Well I'll go one better than that, I wouldn't **** out of a tackle, although it might send the opponent 10ft in the air <laugh>

    100% agree.

If he (JDG) could do it all then he would be playing for a bigger team than Swansea city .

Hernandez does a lot more work and covering than de Guzman. Dyer is reasonable tracking back; Routs always seems to give away a free kick when he does it. None of them can match Rooney though. Well impressed with the tackle he made in the left back position on his own dead ball line against Chelsea. That's what I mean by commitment. I don't expect our players to have his talent but they should have his attitude and work rate.

I always dread when I see Routledge attempt a tackle near our box of out wide as I always expect him to give a free kick away.

So if I said Michu was crap I wouldn't actually be wrong? Riiiiiight. <doh>

If someone says something stupid they're not just stating an opinion. They're displaying their idiocy for everyone to point and laugh at.
