Remember that old song 'We hate nottingham forest, we hate liverpool too and Leicster'. Why the and Leicster. personally I couldn't give a **** about Leicster. And as a matter of interest what do the supporters of the teams mentioned in the song sing, do they have substitute teams/ ? Who would Leicsters derby be against btw? Coventry, Walsall? I just don't know just can't get that bothered about Leicster. It's like the team that nobody ever knows the score off. Check this out next weekend ask someone what the Bury score was at the weekend no one ever knows.
“Anybody who can do anything in Leicester but make a jumper has got to be a genius.” brian clough
Cheese is a kind meat. A tasty yellow beef, I milk it from my teat. But I try to be discreet. OH CHEESE!
Forest and Liverpool because they fit in well with the song, no other reason to my knowledge, but I do remember being at Leicester one day when there was a massive battle on the terraces, bigger than the usual skirmishes,we were in their end and a load of our lads were arrested or thrown out, don't remember the exact year, things were quite a blur in those days but some of the older hands might remember as it had to be in the late 60's. Might explain the extra team in the song. Great day out as usual, good night out in Nottingham on the way back, home safe and well with no cuts and bruises or arrests. Leicester derby is probably Derby County by the way.
Leicesters Derby is against Derby FC. How do i know? ive lived in leicester for the last 16 years and my friends are all Leicester fans, bar one who's a mag. Been to quite a few leicester games last year with my friend, always quite a good day, they always win when i see them. except when i see Sunderland vs Leicester, then we always win
When i lived in Derby they all hated Forest. I think it was to do with Cloughy going to Forest. I think Leicester Derby hatred is like Boro and Us....were we see the Deluded as our great enemy.
Certainly interesting, had a Forrest mate at uni who hated Leicester passionately. The new till not at my old job is a derby fan gets a lot of stick from the Leicester lot. On an off note. I went to school with Michael Jacobs ( plays for derby) he's a a bit of a knob though, had to sit next to him in maths
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Midlands_derby Even wiki make a bigger play on Derby-Forest. Leicester also the the M69 derby and Forest the Nottingham Derby with County.
