    Alright Saints? How goes it?

How are you feeling ahead of Saturday's game? You're looking pretty good in my opinion and should give us a real test. I wouldn't be surprised if you get all three points, but obviously I hope that won't be the case! Do you think Osvaldo will get a start? You paid a hefty sum for him, but he's a top player and your squad is now looking extremely competitive.

I think there's mixed feelings amongst us yellows at the moment. We're generally pretty solid at home, and managed a bunch of goals last night (granted, against 4th tier opposition) which should boost confidence - I noticed you did as well. We should hopefully have some of our first team players back in contention who have been sidelined lately (Snodgrass, Pilks, Bassong, possibly Hooper).
However, our performance against Hull was very disappointing indeed and has given the Hughton-bashers a fair amount of ammunition. The Wolf is looking sharp with good movement, but against Hull we really struggled to give him the service he needs.

    Cheers bors.

I reckon Osvaldo will probably start against you lot, he came on at half time in his debut so fitness is certainly not an issue.

This is a hard one to predict, both of us have made signings, its just a case of how they all come together in. Hard to see what teams are looking good after 2 games so i am really not sure! I would expect the team to be

    ----------- Boruc -----------
    Clyne - Lovren - Fonte - Shaw
    ----- Morgan - Wanyama ----
-- Osvaldo - Ramirez - JWP -- (its scary and exciting that in my guess, Lallana or Rodriguez wont be playing)
    --------- Lambert ----------

But yea i am hoping for an away win, but i see you guys as a bit of an unknown, all depends how your signings come together. So hard to guess at this stage. But i am sure it will be a good game <ok>

Would definitely take a point, quite worried that people seem to be expecting a Saints win.

2-2, last minute goals and red cards. Norwich away is no easy game

So the opposition are coming on here now and starting our match threads. That will never do.

Don't worry Godders, I'm sure Lamb, -DTLW, Tom or someone else will start an OFFICIAL match thread at some point. :)

Not a problem mate. Some of our, shall we say, more mature supporters, in more ways than one, can get a little cliquey at times. ;)

Well Lambie managed a 5-1 away win with the Barnsley thread so he must be favourite!

Would take a point, but we certainly win this one. As for the match thread, I'll let lamb take this one.

We seem to like our draws against you in recent times so I'm going with an entertaining 2-2 draw. Too early to know who's the stronger team at the moment.

A point would do me fine, Norwich were a good side at home even before they brought in reinforcements, a very winnable game but definitely wouldn't turn my nose up at a draw. Hope Bassong isn't fit still!

1:1 and i hope i'm wrong, but i have a feeling Jay rod will be dropped for Osvaldo, hence why he played last night.

Norwich and Saints are similar teams in many ways, recently promotion to the top table, both clubs have a family feel about it, both bought well in the transfer window, both friendly clubs?
I like the look of this Wolf fella who could cause us problems, so I'd settle for a draw.
Went to the game last season, but I'll be missing on Saturday due to a family wedding.
Earplugs will be in during the church service and I kinda hope we don't score during the ceremony - never been thrown out of a church before?
