He won promotion at the first time of asking when he inherited one of the worst teams in our history and from bottom 3 position. He also kept us up the following season and he may well have spent money and overpaid at times but from where we were to where we got was a minor miracle IMO. He instilled a very professional approach at the club and for me we have much to be grateful but for many it's easier to criticise him as if he had inherited the EPL and European cup holders and then reduced us to a shower of ****e overnight? It was always going to end in tears as will PDC her now but both men are very similar in their approach to the game and both men will leave us better for that approach IMO.

I really liked Liam Lawrence, scored quite a few decent and important goals, other shout outs to Carlos Edwards, Tobias Hysen, and Ross Wallace. Apart from that wonderful 3-2 thriller at the SOL, i remember edwards scoring another incredible goal against southampton. (2-1, 1-0?) My best memory under his time was still beating spurs 1-0 on the first day of the season, 94th minute screamer. Awesome. When Roy Keane took over that's when i can honestly remember following the lads as thoroughly as i do now. Before i was a lot younger and would just wait for the results to pop up on CeeFax.

The money spent was shocking, but he wasn't the only one to spend. 7 years since Bob went, lots of money spent, I chuffed the books are almost balanced and we've still got premiership status. That is fantastic! Carlos Edwards right peg is always the thing I remember most. Nyron chants I loved too, a sign we were enjoying ourselves again.
