Yellow ticker on SSN reporting that we're interested in re-signing him on loan.

I know we need firepower but I really don't want this **** back. His petulance in wanting to play through the centre really damaged Cisse and then he ****ed off and left us in the lurch for more money when we were struggling. If he comes back in Cisse will be made to play out wide again or benched, which frankly pisses me off. I'd much rather we went after Lukaku on loan instead.

    Thoughts?

Depends if he's willing to play wide for the good of the time as it's prove him and Cisse don't work as a front two.

At this moment in time, anybody that can score goals would be a good thing.

10 times the player Cisse will ever be, welcome him back with open arms. He would make a massive difference. Top lad aswell, got no problem with him whatsoever.

According to Ryder it's unlikely anyway.

I don't understand this at all. The manager couldn't make Cisse/Ba work the first time around, what's different this time apart from a shedload more pressure? And ANOTHER loan?! Methinks Ashley's winding down on his time here.

Whats the point of strikers coming in if we have no creativity on midfield? Or the hoofball? I assume it will be Remy on the left, Benni on the right and Cisse through the middle or Remy and Cisse up front. Bringing in a loan striker in exchange for a player we own is ludicrous. Still don't understand why we are working so hard trying to get Gomis, he's crap and will mean our long ball ****e will continue :(

I say work on Obertan becoming an attacker a la Ronaldo

The trouble is because of the way things are being run at our club I don't believe it anyway especially when it also had on the ticker that we were back in for gomis an all ,us in for two strikers !

Yeah sure Demba Ba will have no issues with wearing your new shirt, none whatsoever.

To be fair he has all the attributes and personally think he would make a good foil for Cisse

Mourinho chose to play no strikers rather than either Ba or Lukaku the other night. If I were the latter, given he'd played two by this time last year and has now played none, I'd be looking to move on.

Disgusting isn't it, a striker wanting to play striker? What do you think Shearer would have done had we asked him to play left wing for the good of the team just because he was a great crosser of the ball? <whistle>

we should keep the negativity up though as it may work in a reverse psycology way....

I really hope we don't get Ba, Gomis and a replacement for Cabaye...

You know whats needed here, the old siege mentality we had under Hughton. I'm not sure our current stock of players have the balls though.

It's not much different than Cabaye refusing to play for us and you've done nothing other than call him a bottle job. Difference was Shearer never had a strike partner that was out scoring him so it wouldn't have made sense to play him wide. We had a system that got us 5th place and the following year Ba threw a strop because the team and not himself were getting the plaudits, Pardew buckled because he is weak, Cisse lost his confidence as a result and a year on is yet to truly regain it.
