I think you'll find that it was Martinez that installed the passing and attacking philosophy and Sousa the defensive element, so what did Rodgers actually install other than bring the two styles together and bring in a few important signings and putting a little stamp of his own on the style.

Who is Martine - if it's that one who was on Eastenders, when was she our manager? And Valley didn't say Brendan didn't get us promoted, just that it was Martinez that started the passing game and Sousa who came in and worked on the defence! Dai with that reasoning if a team won the Premier league with 88 points but the next season they came 2nd with 90 points it would be the 2nd of the two seasons that would be the most successful
you can all try and cover over how bad we ended up last season all you like but facts are facts and at the end of the day you are only deluding yourselves. I know a few on here agree what i'm saying and i thank you for your pm's but i really don't need them to say the facts, All i know is we have some good players but i'm losing patients with laudrup's spin in the media which has carried on from last season and the way he has spoiled a winning formula of playing style. He cant even play the right players in there best positions for christ sake, don't spoil what's not broke is the answer and get back to the way we play best and we will win more games, stop complicating things on the pitch that the players don't know where they are. get forward more instead of playing deep, use the wings to better effect and most of all laudrup should stop making excuses for our bad results because all in all its his fault....

Come on guys, we all know Dai is living in cloud Cuckoo land, his facts are based on a handful of games, he ignores the fact s that we had a better season, won our first major trophy, which the bell-end still goes on about a div 2 side (i mean that's how ****ing thick the guy is) we obviously didn't have to beat Liverpool on their own patch, or beat the reigning European Champions on the way there, just beat a div 2 team in the final, that's Dai's facts for you, limited to what he wants to use, but ignores everything else that shows his facts as being limited to his ulterior motives. The guy is a first class pratt.
