Seems a bit expensive tbh mate, I did United & Wigan away last year and £20 PP was enough for diesel ect.

FLT very kindly gave me a lift to Boro free of charge. £45 is taking the piss a bit.

I didn't wanna swear or offend the OP but £180 for the journey assuming the driver doesn't pay is a lot for a 400 mile journey.

I do hope your insurance covers you for fare paying passengers as this is definitely more than chipping in with the petrol money. I think you need to be very careful as you may be breaking the law and anyone who takes you up on the offer may be travelling in an uninsured car as a consequence. I would recommend that no one takes up this offer for safety reasons.

I think the most likely vehicle is a Porsche Cayenne 4 by 4. Will seat 4 passengers but has a really **** MPG. <whistle>

Touché. Could also be a Maserati Quattroporte, Rolls-Royce Phantom or a Mercedez-Benz S65 AMG.

Porsche 4x4 seems likely, if he throws in some crisps and drinks I might be tempted :1980_boogie_down:

Me too. Nearly got snowed in driving home. Still thoughts of Boruc and THAT save warmed me up.

Will you come to Nottingham, pick me up, take me to Norwich and then back to Notts?

I might be interested, but a question:

Which description best fits your vehicle -- i) practical, ii) flashy, iii) roomy, iv) seaworthy.

If you're going anyway and have space this type of offer is ridiculous. Why profit out of fellow fans above normal running costs, it really does take the p155!

I was thinking of driving from North London but my Soton supporting family are away and don't want to foot the petrol bill completely. Anybody fancy a lift and contribute petrol costs only? Let me know.
