    Vaugny!
    Vaugny!
    Vaugny!

Good team, altho not sure about having both Walcott and Lennon playing, only so much searing pace with no end product one team can have.

    Bring back Goldenballs Becks! Legend

Green,Terry, Ferdinand, Cole, Gerrard, Beckham, Owen, Defoe,Lampard,Carroll Crouch, they all had their chance to do it for England . Apart from Owen who has been disabled for the last few years the rest are bottlers or drug cheats spit roasters and disgusting human beings that only care about money...........We need to rip up the pigeon English speaking managers teamsheet and start over..:emoticon-0109-kiss: I don t like Owen either but he has a sick note.:undecided:

I wonder whether the young players today will grow up envying the likes of Spain, and will want to play like then? Maybe in 10 years we could have a team of players who want to play passing football? By which time the top football sides will have moved on, or perfected passing football, but never mind.

Why not try a different formation? Diamond, 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3? Must be an improvement!!

Yeah, the diamond was tried in the past but as SGE always insisted on still having Lamps and Gerrard in the same team it never worked.

I think its just time to accept that if England were a prem team they would be a Villa at best. Nowhere near the likes of Argie, Spain, Brazil, Germany in terms of talent at the minute.

I think you're right about the Villa comparison, they could win a cup, but they're not that likely to.
The reality with England is the same as it's been all through my life. Unless the coaching improves, the handling of young players changes, and the structure of the domestic game changes, we'll never produce better players than we have now.
We have the odd one or two in each generation who are technically good on the ball, but the rest at international level just don't cut it.
