Hollowhead intends to play all of his new signings against us tomorrow night, is he showing us a bit of respect or getting nervous, anyway should be a good game and I think our fella's are up for this one..... 2-1 to Bristol City JET and the City bold one (Baldock, 5 goals this season in all comp's) to win it for us...(positive thinking) http://www.london24.com/sport/champ..._changes_for_bristol_city_cup_clash_1_2353579

Said in the papers yesterday that Neil Warnock is favourate to return as Palace manager Palace have had money to spend so Hollohead cant complain. They bought Dwight Gayle for £ 8.5m (with the add-ons to pay) from Peterborough which is a lot of money for a league one defender. Teams like Villa paid half that for Jores Okore who I think will be a great defender. Had to laugh when reading his comments earlier: âI am stressed to hell â not when I watch my team, not when Iâm out on the grass coaching but just trying to say âWhoâs this? Where has he come from? Whatâs his name? How do you spell it? The answer is to scrap the window â itâs an absolute joke. Do it how we used to do it. Then us people whoâve just come up might just have a chance of catching some of these big people. They write their own rules, thatâs what they do. Now I can only have two loans. Whyâs that I donât understand.â âIâm not finding players at the moment, itâs agent led. I havenât been scouting myself, we havenât scouted abroad, when you see how much we had to pay for Gayley, can we afford to buy any more English players? Probably not." It was also interesting to read an interview with one of the guys behind the new Football Manager 2014 game who was saying about the number of teams / managers who have signed them up to do scouting. Apparently Everton were the first team to sign up so that they get all FM scouting information before it goes live on the game. Chelsea and Spurs have also done it. It does seem that when a big club is linked with an outstanding overseas young talented player these days you can tell who plays the game depending if a person has heard of that player.
