WTF? A 17 year old kid knocked down three Leeds fans walking in Ipswich after the game and drove off. Police nicked him later while he was still driving around the town ... released on bail. One fan was openly wearing his Leeds shirt. Accident or deliberate? Anyone know of this, and were the fans walking in the street or on the sidewalk? Not nice at all!! Hope our fans are okay.
17 yrs old is far too young to be incharge of such a dangerous weapon as a car, i personally think you should not be able to drive till your 20, start of being a grown up and show a bit of responsibility. IMO
I read in the local paper east anglian daily times yesterday that they arrested him about three miles from the incident after a chase and that he was from the london area.when I came out from the ground on Saturday the fans were walking in the roads so maybe they should think about closing the roads around the ground for a short while till the crowds have dispersed?
I don't think he was an Ipswich fan as he wasn't driving a tractor The 3 Leeds lads were all Norwich Whites apparently. And yes it was congested after the match on Saturday, but it's quite easy to avoid being hit by a car which is queuing in traffic, so I reckon he was driving recklessly and deliberately drove into them
No need to worry the local police have today issued a statement and apparently both Car and driver are ok Phew thats a relief
