I wanna see if Eric Dier will be any good on the game. He's just chilling out in Portugal at the moment without having to worry about the English media having a frenzy over how he's a new English talent. I dread to think about the day some paper like the DailyMail run an article about how they've discovered him and how he was unknown before. It's like Ward-Prowse isn't getting much attention because of Ross Barkley, and I'm kind of glad about that.
Ah, that's no good. The combination of his physical stats, the weak foot/skill moves and his ball control was way too overpowered for a silver. I felt dirty using him. The best player I've ever used is a German striker called Ronny Konig, he was a bronze in fifa 12 and played for the same team as 93 pace Konnecke (probably butchered that, sorry mike, first name terms) and I accidently brought Konig instead. He had pace in the 50s, dribbling in the 50s, sounds like the standard dog**** bronze. But for some reason, he was mental. Scored a few from the centre circle, volleys from 40 yards, overall he scored I think 70 in around 40 games. I still have no idea why he was so good. He was a silver in FIFA 13, I didn't want to buy him incase he was ****.
Interesting, I would have thought around 72. He will still be a good link for premier league and Portuguese league, though
Decent Olly! (4-2-3-1, narrow with CAM's) Boruc 77 Clyne 74 Fonte 73 Lovren 78 Shaw 72 Wanyama 76 Schneiderlin 78 Lallana 76 Osvaldo 81 Ramirez 77 Lambert 76 Gives an average rating of 76.
They're not the final stats, if they play better through the season they'll improve, and they're not that low anyway. Plus, they're just overall ratings, I'm sure their actual stats are more accurate. Oh, and most importantly, it's one small part of a game. It's not a big deal.
The acctual stats are quite impressive, especially Shaw, Clyne and Rodriguez. All likely to be kept silver to increase their Ultimate team value.
Players aren't kept a certain overall rating to 'increase their UT value'. Rodriguez is a 70 rated LM in seasons, btw.
Of course they do, they have to keep some desireable players as Silver rated, otherwise no one would buy the Silver packs. Also, what is the relevance of your comment on Rodriguez?
That's conspiracy theory-esque, and most likely untrue. Why would Rodriguez go from a 70 LM to 74 overall? I doubt your credentials on this information.
You do realise he's only rated 70 because that's what his stats equate to as a LM? If he was changed to a striker he would return to his previous rating. And Ultimate team is a cash cow for EA Sports, it's their main source of income. They will do all they can to increase income, a player is more desirable as a 73/74 rated player compared to being 75/76/77.
Yes, I do. And given he hasn't played as a striker this season it's probably unlikely that he'll return to being a striker in the game.
