After the first week i have come to opinion that we are in trouble allready. The worst teams seem to be us, Palace and possibly Hull. I have never seen more dismal start to a season ever!! Everybody else has strengthened during the summer, even the teams that have come up. The press and media are already sniffing a disaster at St James and they are starting to circle like Vultures round a dead dog!! They know what is coming and their stories are designed to wind up all the fans and create a hostile atmosphere in the ground which they will use to write more wind-up articles. When you have fans of other teams coming onto our board and saying that feel sorry for us, this early into the season, you know we are in DEEP S**T!!!:sad::sad:

You know what, going to a Newcastle game is a bit like, booking a meal a Gordon Ramsey restaurant, turning up being asked to pay in advance, sitting down and ordering the best fillet steak with all the trimmings, waiting with anticipation for it to be served, being shocked when they slap down in front of you a ****ty burger that is 90% horsemeat with some McCain oven chips. You complain and want your money back, but all they say is F**K OFF, you paid for it now so there is nowt you can do about it and all the staff laugh their tits off at you stupidity!!!!

I now realise that the most obvious answer to Joe arriving is coming to fruition. Pardew will be the scapegoat(33% right), Joe will take the reigns and another January spree will see us safe. Rinse and repeat until Ashley is repaid then he can sell on.

Hard to see otherwise at present. We look likely to cash in our best creator (which I don't mind), but it seems unlikely we'll replace him and get the extra wide player and striker we need to make the team function correctly.

It's a repeat of the last relegation season - We'll get a Xisco type singing and a Nacho loan in before the window shuts, Pardew out, Kinnear in, Kinnear in hospital after one win, one draw and eight defeats, then a 'shearer' type through the door to look after the team in Kinnear's absence.

We could sign Van Persie and Messi before the window shuts, it would make no difference. Newcastle is rotten from within - the coaching is bad beyond belief.

Is Kinnear deliberately not buying players so Pardew definitely gets fired and he can take over?

Sadly looks like we are and even if we do scrape it and stay up, the same will be the case next season. MA will continue to siphon off as much money as he can, to pay himself back as quickly as possible.

I read on Toontastic forum that apparently Ashley needs another 50 million before he has made his money back. Sell Cabaye, could see Krul leaving in January. So lets say that is around the 30-35 million mark (I reckon thats a fair assessment). Come next summer he can sell a few others (not sure who) and gain the required 15-20 million then just sells to someone who actually gives a flying **** about the club, supporters, etc Oh and of course takes those ****s Kinnear and Pardew with him.

He paid £134m and took on £110m debts himself. He has repaid himself around £33m and scheduled £29m more over the next two seasons. The question is what is the value of the club right now? According to transfermarkt the players are at around £155m. The club as a whole and a brand has to be pushing £200m. If he wants out it can't be long.

Problem is, you start this badly and whip up the kind of negativity not seen at SJP for years and it's VERY hard to snap out of it.

I don't think I've gauged a more dismal outlook from NUFC fans ever in my time supporting the club, including my own dismay at this season's prospects.

I reckon if nothing positive materialises soon we could end up in a pretty horrible spiral whereby the fans start to turn on the team, with flaky players throwing in the towel and sulking.

The most worrying thing is that even as a unit not functioning on all cylinders we look incapable of doing the basics to scrape points.

Another thing, do we confidently have ANY fixtures these days we can expect to take maximum points from? Where are the goals going to come from?
Says a whole lot when you're seriously worrying about being turned over by Morecambe... Dark days.

I don`t profess to understand the financial wizardry but, if the assets (including players) are valued at say £200m. Ashleys sells a player for £20m and keeps the money to pay the debt to himself, does this not reduce the clubs assets to £180m.

It gets him some of the loan back but if it lessens the value of the club he wants to sell then he`s no better off?
