Come on folks - We're missing a very important point here - How pissed off will the chavs be if we signed Given? And how pissed off would they be if we signed Westwood <laugh> That's a big consideration for me

I would take Westwood over Given because he wont cost as much on wages. He will sort the keeper position out for years and he will blend in with the squad while Given wouldnt as much. Paul Gallagher is really good mates with Westwood so lets hope he puts a good word in and we see him down the walkers next season

Westwood has been linked with many Premier League sides a well I notice. However, the one thing that could swing it in our favour, as well as the friendship with Gally (not sure how you know that but I'll take your word for it Proud), is that we can offer him first-team football which the PL clubs can't.

I see Villa have released Nigel Reo coker might be worth a pop and he's free... He's only 27 seems like he has been around for ages.

I don't think we'll sign either Given nor Westwood, both will be in the Prem next year IMO. I think we're more likely to sign someone like Cudicini or Almunia. As for the Huddersfield lads, I'd certainly take them but both as back-ups, with a new GK and RB ahead of them.
