The pitch is slow, but its still a decent wicket.

England should scoring at better then 2 a over. I think its odds on to a draw.

It's okay, at least the day will end with England lifting that wee little urn up in the air in celebration...

Why would they do that at the end of today?

Cook - Root and Trott all get in and then get out. 196 for 3 atm but the rain gods are forming.

Dont expect much play over the weekend if Mr Fish has got it right.

    DRAW.

Bit of patter between Clarke & Pietersen. Always want to know what they're saying.

If it's owt as good as McGrath to Sarwan, it's bound to get a bit tasty on the field.

Great win for Yorkshire. Dare we think about a Championship pennant this season?

Definitely - they've made themselves firm favourites. Huge match starts on Wednesday v Durham at Scarborough - should be a decent crowd (by championship cricket standards) for that one.

Stopped watching earlier, thinking that they were not going to be tempted by the target. Managed to flock back on for what could be an exciting end to an otherwise dull test.

What a ****ing load of ****!

4 ****ing overs left for ****s sake!

Sort it out ICC. You've ruined the ending to what was a fantastic match.

On a lighter note, we've won!

They really need to sort this out, for test cricket, which I love and still think it is the best form of the game, they need to allow a result to happen if at all possible. This just makes a mockery of the game.

Its just awful regulations, the ICC need to have a look at it, as there was nothing dangerous out there at all. They want day and night test matches so surely we can carry on a bit longer, i know its not a red ball for them but surely they can compromise.

Totally agree about the ICC regs. They need to be changed asap.

We really need to up it in Australia. There bowling attack is good and there starting to get there batting order in shape.

I think Tremlett will be big on the bouncy pitches. The ball coming on will suit our batsman as well.

    I think we'll nick a 2-1.
