Tuesday is perfect for us in a number of ways. Firstly we get to see some of the new young lads get a game and secondly I think we might see some first new first teamers get another run out.

    For me Altidore would start up top with Whickham in a 4-4-2. Jozy is a confidence striker and if he could get off the mark in the cup it should help him at Palace. Its a chance for mannone to stake his claim too after Westy impressed yesterday. Cuellar also need a run out. I think PDC will go with a similar side to yesterday but im hoping he mixes it up. Im hoping for something similar to;

    ................... Mannone............................
    Celustka....Cuellar..Roberge......Colback
    karlsson.....Gardner...Ba.............Mavrias
    ...................Altidore..Wickham.............

Would prefer Diakite to keep his place instead of Cuellar but admiittedly with Cuellar we have experience. If Cabral is fit I would prefer him to Gards otherwise the team your suggesting Parker should be more than good enough.

I wonder if its too soon for Fletcher to get a run out at some point.

    Why mix and match?

If the team need to gel isn`t this another game for them to do exactly that?
    Another opportunity to play together?

OK, tin hat on, fire away. :bandit:

If its comfortable, 3-0 or so would love to see him get 15-20 mins. ONLY if the medical team and him feel OK and he takes it relatively easy. Might need him to hit the winner against Palace.

agreed! the more often our first team play now the better. ideally karlsson, mavrias and fletcher get a 20 min run out later in the game after we've taken a comfortable second-half lead....:emoticon-0103-cool:

100% right, Our team sometimes played like strangers, we need them to play as a unit, put out the strongest team we have, the more they play the better they will become. I also happen to think we should take this cup serious.

I'd give starts to Ba, Karlsson and Ceullar

Otherwise play as strong a team as possible, Jozy could do with some goals and Ji and Wickham both would need some match practice so I'd start those three

I have my doubts that Diakite could play sat tues sat. Oshea isn't a spring chicken either so id save them for sat whilst giving two players much needed playing time in Cuellar and Roberge. Id also like to keep Giacherini and Johnson fresh for the weekend as I think they'd be extremely leggy on sat if they start on Tuesday. All opinion of course

Brown allegedly only had a tiny little knock. Is he not sorted yet? Our best defender when fit.

Go to agree with grandpops on this one we need to get our defence working as a unit and, the more games they get together the better.

Same team as yesterday with a cple changes
    Whickham in for Sess
and a midfield of Ba and Cabral

I reckon that could be our best team. Big lover of Sess , but its looking like we dont have a good enough team to be able to play him.

Very excited to see them in the team together. Think Cabral must have been kept back for tuesday to help shepard Ba, I think they'll be our cm pairing. Reckon Paolo wants us to win this cup so I'm expecting a strong defence and a balance of first team and fringe players. I'd give fletch an hour from the start but I expect he'll get an half hour from the bench, same for Catts.

I'm probably wrong. Just searching for possible reasons for starting those two in cm yesterday. Baffled mate.
