I think the Snodgrass thing is as if we had an ex binner come to play at our place. We would have it in for him for the full 90.Agree regarding the Hull fans on here.Seem a pretty decent lot.
Ah, that makes more sense, Rick's not a journalist, he's just a City fan who runs his own site, he's a good lad too, a lot of what writes is very good. To be honest, I thought we'd start to suffer in the last twenty minutes and be completely under the cosh, but if anything, I thought we looked more like scoring in the latter stages. It was obviously great for us to win our first home game back in the Premier League, particularly having gone down to ten men in the first half hour, rarely have I left the KC in a better mood. It seems your lads gained the respect of our lot in the pubs around the ground yesterday, good luck to you this season, I'm hoping Palace, Stoke and Sunderland make the drop.
I stand by what I've already said mate, i had a great view of our pen and it looked clumsy from Turner. I've seen him give a few away in similar fashion whilst he played for us too. I'll reserve judgment on your pen claim until MotD comes on iplayer tomorrow Rick's reviews are usually spot on, he's one of the few people that highlighted Livermore's performance correctly as I agree he should have been MotM. A few papers I've seen have given him a 6/10 whilst giving Howson 7! Dot get me wrong Howson was one of your better players but there's no way he out performed Livermore
The right to go down means it could be given either way, so let the ref make the decision and see what happens. You're players were doing this a lot before the penalty and sending off, we followed suit when we needed to waste a bit of time.
The problem was that in needlessly touching the attacker he gave him the chance to go down, as horrible as it is these days it is "being professional" in going down and putting doubt in the refs mind. I didn't think it was a pen but, it was so unnecessary of Tina to give him that chance! Bah!
