I have a feeling about this lad. A good one.

If he had played more last season he would have been the star then too! But I agree, definitely potentially the star of the season

I loved his through ball to Pappis and his application and passing (when short) works a treat. Vurnon is a better player than Cheikh and more than one level ahead of Jonas.

Anita was really good today. That pass to Papiss was sublime... Cabaye who?

It takes an injury to Tiote and Cabaye refusing to play for one of our best players to get a game.

    Crazy really but not surprising.

Liked Anita in his first game and nothing's changed. He's very industrious and always puts a good shift in.

Really pleased he got 90 mins today. Pards needs to give him a good run in the team. He seems committed and wants to do well here.

Shaky start but put in a really good display. Hopefully he'll kick. Sackless Cabs can watch him.

every player needs to play regular that's for sure ...bit unfair to be thrown into the deep end against man city down to 10 ..but needs games ..

got a feeling remy will be the man ...but where will they play him .. just my thoughts ..

I'd love to see a midfield 3 of him, Marveaux and Sissoko.

When Anita came, I remember reading again and again that he was like a terrier/that he did all the work fans never notice/that he allowed other players to play to their potential. With Anita doing all the nitty gritty stuff, winning the ball and playing it short (as Tiote used to) it leaves Sissoko to make driving runs and Marveaux to add the flair. Marveaux isn't an out and out winger, Sissoko is too powerful a runner to simply play in the No.10 position.

Play a front 3 of Gouffran, Cisse and Ben Arfa (with Gouffran/Ben Arfa tracking back when need to make a conventional 4,4,2) and there's potentially life without Cabaye!

He's definitely the most tactically aware player we have apart from Coloccini, but he has the pace to keep up with the players he's tracking the runs of, so it makes him more effective.

His marking is excellent, his ability to intercept a ball is excellent, his tackling is good and can still improve. His ability on the ball is good but could do with some improvement. His passing is a little inconsistent.

Overall, he's a great player. Good defensive midfielder and he should be the first CM on the team sheet if he carries on playing like that.

I think Sissoko and Anita are a great partnership. How many teams can boast a central midfield full of pace?
